I realize that... but you said Dre, Cube, & Pac are better than Chino and Ras Kass lyrically.. You gon' have to explain that one to me.. I agree that they're better rappers overall and have had a bigger impact in the game (obviously) but i don't see how any of them were ever that great lyrically

TROUBLESOME 96

Menacin' methods label me a lethal weapon
Making n*ggas die witnessin' breathless imperfections
Can you picture my specific plan
To be the man in this wicked land, underhanded hits are planned
Scams are plotted over grams and rocks
[song version 1:] Undercover agents die by the random shots
[song version 2:] Outlaws motherfu*kers die by the random shots
We all die in the end, so revenge we swore
I was all about my ends, fu*k friends and foes
Me, a born leader, never leave the block without my my heata
Got me a dog and named her my bi*ch n*gga eata
What could they do to me that little brat
sh*t them n*ggas shot me and still terrified, I'll get their a.ss
How can I show you how I feel inside
We outlawz motherfu*kas can't k!ll my pride
n*ggas talk a lot of sh*t but that's after I'm gone
Cause they fear me in physical form let it be known
I'm troublesome

[Chorus]
Tra la la la la la all ya n*ggas die [several times]

Trouble sh*t
Gutter ways my mentality is ghetto
We're guerrillas in this criminal war, we all rebels
death before dishonor bet on bomb on them first n*ggas do
We came for murder, pullin' up in a herse
Westside was the war cry bustin' all freely screaming fu*k
All ya'll n*ggas in Swahili
Pistol packin' fresh out of jail, I ain't goin' back
Release me to care of my heartless strap
Say my name three times like Candyman
Bet I roll on your a.ss like an avalance
A soul survivor, learned to get high and pull drive bys
murder my foes, can't control my nine
Hearin' thoughts of my enemies pleadin' please
Busta a.ss motherfu*kas tried to flee
Picture me letting this chump survive
Redin' up on his a.ss when I'm doped and died
Cause I'm troublesome

[Chorus]

murder murder my mind states sh*t ain't change since my last rhyme
The crime rate ain't decline
n*ggas bustin' shots like they lost their mind
Like twenty-five to life never crossed their mind
Tell me young n*gga never learned a thang
Dead at thirteen cause he yearned to bang
Sniffed a lot of flowers, but how can I cry
Try to warn the little n*gga either stop or die
Mercy is for the weak when I speak I scream
Afraid to sleep in havin' of crazy dreams
Vivid pictures of my enemies and family times
God to forgive me cause it's wrong but I plan to die
Need to take me in heaven and understand I was a sheep
Did the best I could, raised in insanity
Or send me to hell cause I ain't beggin' for my life
Ain't nothing worse than this cursed a.ss hopeless life
Cause I'm troublesome

SCARED STRAIGHT

You're about to feel the wrath, a psychopath when this song play
Get iller than Johnny Gill and rub you the wrong way
fu*k sensitivity I get cruel when you're doing me
Cause none of the rough stuff bi*ch stop pursuing me
So true to the game, it's a name you don't dare say
A lyrical lunatic when I kick it your scared straight

Motherfu*ker's fall way to the roster
You step any closer and get hit with a dose of
The iller-fied pimping-ass gang to bang to
And I ain't ashamed to, get wicked with slang to
n*ggas know, when I flow, I can give you mo'
Get sicker than psycho, and won't let the Mic, go
Till I hear the whole crowd on they two feet
As I go through new beats, I'm running through MC's

n*gga please you dizzy, you can't take me
You stumble through break beats but you'll never fade me
Scared straight cause you hate, when I motivate
You suffer a different fate, when music I mutilate
But some of the super suckers try to stop me
I'm gunning and running the stupid motherfu*ker's now they jock me

What if I should trip? Or chill and a give fair break
fu*k it they feel the wrath of a motherfu*ker scared straight

[Chorus:]
You scared motherfu*ker you scared?
I know you scared motherfu*ker you scared (Ah, yeah, scared straight)
Cause I can hear your heart beating, heavy breathing
I can see the sweat, trickling from your head
You scared motherfu*ker you scared?
I know you scared motherfu*ker you scared (When your heart's beating)
Cause I can hear your heart beating, heavy breathing I can see the sweat, trickling from your head

[Verse 2:]
Feel the funky funk house buster you'll get rolled on
No matter how much they bring, I duck and dodge and hold on
Best a watch the swing
n*gga the game is so strong, catch me by surprise
You won't realize your hoe's gone
n*gga I'm on the creep
And if I know your address, girls as good as stuck
She eating my Mr. Badness
Pac don't give a fu*k, I got too many enemies
fu*king with the ginger juice the booze of fu*king Hennessy
The closer they can get
But still don't let them see me sweat, suckers ain't trying to step
They know they'll be breathing they last breathe
n*ggas ain't got no heart, but swear that they be rocking sh*t
Till they get a load of the bold a.ss 2Pacalypse
Tell them to bring the noise, and look like they wanna rift
Brother this is ain't a game, a crook's what's you're fu*king with
Hitting him with the flurry, I'll bury him if he steps to me
Sucker's can't get next to me, tripping off some Ecstasy
Literal life insanity, even a form of suicide
This ain't BBD, try doing me you're do or die
Dropping them like a Mack, and smacking them like a weak bi*ch, n*gga don't even twitch
Cause them I'ma have to pull the switch
Victory to the switch, so fu*k 'em if they, try to break
Freaking 'em with the funk left them drunk
Hella scared straight
Hell yeah
Scared straight

I can post a lot more, this is just a preview of some of pacs best lyrics..

so how exactly is 2pac not a great lyricist?? His music wasn't based on straight lyrics that blow ur mind off but dont get it twisted, he was one the best, but not the best.

overall he's the best, but not lyrically.

Makaveli was THE definition of heart. NObody could put vocals down on a track like Pac could. He had so much passion when making music.

Put a Chino/Piggie/Gay z/nas song that has more heart and strength than this sh*t. I dare you.

@ homie postin the lyrics to troublesome like i never heard it..

All I'm saying is lyrics/punchlines were never 2Pac's strong point... He has arguably the best delivery ever, and is easily one of the top 5 rappers all time but I don't see how ya'll can include him even among the top 10 most lyrical, let alone label him the best

finally somebody dont got 2pac's d*ck in they eye blurring there vision

nobody is arguing that pac wasnt a good rapper but he is FAR from the best LYRICALLY wich is what the arguement was about

LYRICALLY there's alot of rapper better than 2pac

where 2pac's strong point was delivery, emotion and the ability to connect wit his fans on deep subject material on certain tracks

when you talkin wordplay and punchlines though he is clearly not in his element and chino xl got him in those categories ONLY and alot of other rappers including jay-z and biggie were LYRICALLY better than pac

that's a stupid arguement

Chino xl will never be better than pac as a rapper

Pac overall as a rapper is way better than chino xl

i thought the post was about if chino got him on the diss track

and if that was the point of the post i would say on a lyrical level chino > better than pac

on an overall who is the better rapper Pac > chino xl

i guess the thread title is whos the better rapper 2pac or chino xl not did Chino xl ether pac on this diss song

i think even the thread starter said that pac was the better rapper but that
Chino XL went in on him LYRICALLY and i agree

Yes, thats exactly what I said - if dude read my first post he'd see I stated 2Pac was the way better rapper overall and is a legend, no doubt... But I thought Chino ate him on this track .. I was never a huge pac fan personally but I still respect his legacy..

Pac > Chino overall
Chino > Pac lyrically

:greetings10:

yeah u right about there not being a lot of people that knew about chino until hit em up being he wasn't big like that in the mainstream, definitely not on 2Pac's level of fame - but true headz knew about him and knew he was a beast. ..Once Pac said his name on Hit em Up we knew that venom was comin

Tupac is my FAVORITE artist but yeah even I realize that. lol

But just as a side note
in this day and age where media is in all of rapper's business and people's "cards" are getting pulled. Do you think Pac could be as relevant? I mean he was in ballet and had that interview where he looked "sweet"

That's my dude and he really had purpose for his lyrics but I think we can all admit he wasn't "gangster" until after Strictly for My N.I.G.G.A.Z. in which he did start doing some of the stuff he claimed in his lyrics.

I just think in this day and age him and Biggie would have been getting called out for stuff just like famous artist of today. They kept there legacies intact when they died.

Everything happens for a reason. They went out on top unlike ALOT of so called Legends we have now.

Me and my boyz was actually having a similar discussion... If the rappers that died (Big, Pac, Pun, etc..) were still alive would any of them have fallen off by now or would they still be as good as they were? I honestly feel Pun (as much as I loved him) was on his was to falling off before he died and I only say that because 'Yeeeaah baby' was no where near as good as his first album.. With Pac & Biggie its hard to say because it felt like they were still devoping as artists and both dropped classic albums right before they died. Although I still think if they both lived they're legacy wouldn't be as 'intact' as it is now, since they both died at the height of their careers.. Just like if LL Cool J or Kool G Rap died in the early/mid 90's, everyone would say they were the GOAT because they were at their peek at the time, but have since fallen off
