you must not be seeing how without jacobs breaking the defense down before any of the other guys touch the field, they just dont run the ball nearly as well.
with jacobs being injured im thinking hes making more of a case for not only him being the one to resign, but also for ward to realize that he should too resign with the giants.
because most big games i saw from any other running back was during a game where jacobs had a big game.
Like the other guy said in this thread, nobody in the league is scared of a downfield threat by Toomer(at his age), Smth or Butterfingers Hixon...
Once you eliminate the passing threat, the defense can zero in on the Running Game.
Even if Jacobs was there, the D is going to focus on the Run, and it's going to continue to look like this... We are currently a totally one dimensional offense.
Tell me I'm wrong once Jacobs comes back... I'll take it if I'm wrong.
