I think he's a legend because he and Bun-B are the perfect combination: the dude whose realness is just undeniable, and the dude who can just spit like a motherfu*ker. Yeah, Pimp wasn't the nicest on the mic, but go listen to his verses on sh*t like "One Day,' "Hi-Life," or "Diamonds and Wood" -- sh*t just resonates with you on a deeper level than most Jay, Nas, or Big sh*t, even if they are much tighter lyricists.

I'm talking about the southern movement in the early-mid 90's.
The movement which involved Geto Boys, Outkast, Goodie Mobb, Master P, Luke, UGK, Eightball & MJG, and many more. People that used to put out 9-10 song albums and they were still classic.
