The true unfortunate thing is that his next movie is a live action version of Avatar The Last Airbender. I hope He doesn't ruin it while I am rooting for him though because I did like Signs, Sixth sense, Unbreakable and The Village but i don't think he can pull it off.

Ok it's not a twist but if you wanna waste your money on it feel free. When you see Mark apologizing to plant and can't help but laugh do9n't say I didn't tell you.
LMAO! This sh*t had me laughing fa real! Apologizing to a plant! I'm glad I didn't see it yet, don't plan on it now! If I do, it would just be to laugh.

The big twist is that the trees and plants are mad at humans for polluting the earth so they create a toxin that makes humans commit suicide. It doesn't affect animals only humans. They spread the toxin through the wind. At one point there's a scene where Mark Walberg is trying to outrun the wind so that he doesn't get poisoned, everybody started laughing. Also tries and use scary music when a tree starts shaking and this little boy is on a swing, like the trees gonna get him, lol.

I really hope M. Night never makes a movie after this. Word of mouth is gonna k!ll this movie, I hope it makes like a buck fifty.
lmao you moron you missed the whole point of the movie...they throw alot of different explanations of that happened out there but you apparently missed all of them even though they are pretty obvious. it started with big populations at first and worked its way down to smaller and smaller populations until the last attack was just a single person so it could have just been done. or it could have something to do with the moods. the house with the old lady who hated everybody and didnt communicate with the whole world at all was where the center of the whole thing was happening and when she got really pissed off and flipped out she died and the only people left there were mark wahlberg, the lady and the child and they were full of love and the attacks ended. and they also kept showing that mood ring throughout the movie so that could of been a reason. and then they just throw one more reason at you at the end where they mention the whole global warming thing which is apparently the only thing you payed attention to in the movie. the whole point of the movie is some thing in nature are unexplainable and just happen for a reason. thats why they emphasise that statement a few times throughout the movie.

Lady in the Water was the biggest pile of horsesh*t I've ever watched. The only way that sh*t could have gotten more twists into it was if Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones came in as the Men in Black and just wiped everyone's memories.

Lady in the Water was easily and by far worse than this movie.

I thought The Village had a good twist, wasn't a great movie, but, wasn't bad neither. Signs was dope, Sixth Sense was dope. I haven't see this yet, and I don't care what the "twist" is, I wanna see how nasty he can get with Rated R lol.

Thats only half the problem...the one that got me was how they stopped the plants from the toxins. When Marky Marks character Elliot figures these plants are mood rings and they release the toxins when they don't like the energies that humans give off...and at the third act him and Alma, who have been seperated and are reunited, step infront of the open air and try to channel their positive feelings for each other...love if you will...and they just simply live.

That's the heartbreaker right there.
See, if you were paying attention to the movie, you would notice the part where the scientist said the event would "crest" at around 9 am and most likely would end suddenly. It wasn't love that stopped it. It just ended. The whole point of the movie was that things tend to happen for reasons we don't understand.
