Going like 3-4 times a week playing for at least 2 hours. And I'm talking about actually playing defense, not cherry picking, and running on the fast breaks.

no doubt. Treadmills will trick tha sh*t out of you. You think cus you can go 30 minutes on a treadmill you can run for 30 mins on tha track? Thats why I always try to go out there and run a mile at our school track.

Dog I'm tellin you if U hoop for 3 hours or more 2-3 times a week you will lose mad weight, my homie is about 235 this n*gga started hoopin wit me for a month and he dropped 10 lbs easy, he 225 now and he still losing weight, if I go to the gym and nobody wanna run a couple games I shootaround for 2 hours, that helps too, I can only hoop on the weekends cause of my job but I'm on the court for 4 or more hours since I dont weight lift on the weekends

If you play full court basketball and you're sprinting up and down the court that is interval training. Be sure to include a stretching program like Magnificent Mobility. The last thing I would want you to do is to get plantar fasciitis or some other fu*ked up sh*t from playing all that ball and not stretching properly.

its great cuz even when you get totally exhausted you can keep going a little easier (not sprinting on breaks, slackin a little on defense, etc.) and you'll totally exhaust yourself, a lot further than I usually would on a track or machine

...but get used to running outside and you will DESPISE treadmills.

I fu*king HATE the treadmill. I can run 8 miles outside and come home in an hour feeling great. If I tried to run 8 miles on a treadmill, barring I don't die of boredom first, I'd feel like I ran 16.

I wouldn't say so... I play basketball every day...its not just playing ball that will do it, you have to ball hard and play at a certain intensity level. If all else fails, then resort to the treadmill...it works like a charm for me.

Only advice I would give is to ice down your knee's and feet after playing. A hot tub wouldn't hurt either. :D

Man I thought it was just me... i be on a bike or treadmill and feel salty as hell when I actually run Basketball is good sh*t tho. try football too if you got a group of guys thatll play
