It has players from certain countries? Is that how you guys constitute a game being global?

Rugby has professional players from every country in the world near enough. That doesn't mean it has a healthy following in every country in the world

Plus it isn't hard for basketball to have many international players. Being that the game is heavily based on how tall you are.

Wobble your head.

And no, they don't all have leagues that are very popular. Stop talking out of your arse. I'm from England, i think i'd know if we had a popular basketball league. Of course it's a given that a game as simple as basketball has alot of participants from all countries(so does volleyball), but that doesn't mean professional competitions have a healthy fan base:rolleyes:

The NBA can't even make it on TV unless it's 3 am in the morning over here.

And what the fu*k is FIBA? Every sport has an international federation, that isn't a reflection on global popularity you tit.

You people are complete morons. The fact your fellow man has gone out of his way to flood his profile with Anti-European rubbish is proof enough that you're losing.

Never specified the leagues to England. You brits take everything we say and try to make it appear differant than it is. Spain, Italy, certain eastern European countries and China have VERY big basketball leagues. Maccabi just beat Barcelona in the Euroleague. That was a big game. You're stupid.

North America is part of the 'WORLD'. They are the only team in the 'WORLD' who won the superbowl. They are the 'WORLD' champions.
Yeah, but there's a difference between North America and The World. That's something you bighead septics can't seem to grasp.

You are not world champions when you play a sport that has little to no international competition.

It's ridiculous for someone competiting in a non-international sport, in a non-international league, to call themselfs the world champions; regardless of the fact they might be the best.

Munster at current form are probably the best rugby team in the world. How many Munster players or fans call themselfs world champions?

You can't grasp the key difference between club and international games.

Really? Well, in the 3 times i've been to Spain i've never come across one person sat in a bar watching basketball, or talking about basketabll for that matter.

Basketball in spain is on the same level as volleyball. It's played by a sh*t load of people, but not many people give a fu*k about it on a professional basis.

And China play every sport. They have a big rugby competition. Certainly isn't anywhere near a popular sport in China though.

Your arguments are a joke.

And will you stop adressing me as a Brit as if to suggest other Europeans or Non North americans don't agree with evrything i'm saying.

Basketball is only truelly popular in about 3 European countries.

Ever heard of basketball is so sh*t and fan lacking over here that they don't show live games. They're highlights and repeats, and still can't make it on TV before 1 am.

It's a joke. The Quiz Call programs get higher ratings

Jesus christ. What part don't you understand.

You aren't considered world beaters when you're playing a non-international club sport.

Repeat that until you understand

Yeah basketball is sh*t... i'd rather watch men kick a ball around for an hour and a half and score 2 goals. That's exciting.

So then we are the best team int he world. definitely in America, and since you dont play it in europe then we win by default

what percentage of the giants are from new york or new jersey? in the same way WHY does it matter what percentage of NFL europe players are from europe. they play over there and therefore it is a European team. basic logic.

I don't know if you're mentally challenged or what not but are you still not seeing the point that to become World Champions you need to play international teams.

As I look at it as I would in any sport, if you only play teams from your own continent or country you will only be North American Champions, South American Champions, European champions or whatever.

But Superbowl is only a domestic competition anyway, so Superbowl Cup Winners is nothing to debate on.

Italy winning the football world cup = world champions.
South Africa winning the rugby world cup = world champions.
Spain winning Basketball World Championship = world champions.
Giants winning a domestic tournament = Superbowl Winners.

Exactly Exodus. You could argue that the winner of the Premiership is the best club team in the world. Even if it were true, it wouldn't make them world champions lmao. It would make them English champions.
