I'm actually doing Plyo right now. And while I can dunk (on a good day), I really haven't really noticed any improvement in going side to side.

I'm on Week 4 of the VJB Beginner Plyo workout. I started it before and got this far, but just kinda stopped, so I restarted and it's been great.

go cop that nike sparq training speed ladder and some mini hurdles....then go search youtube for speed ladder drills. you'll notice your footwork will be faster and more efficient too

I'm just now reading the thread now. Your advice is not going for naught.

Hafestos mentioned supplements. I don't know anything about that. To be honest, I'd rather not put any of that stuff in my body.

Another dude mentioned the Speed Ladder, which seems like a good idea opposed to the Speed Parachute I was going to get, but $40 for a little ladder? There has to be something cheaper.

Trust me, the ladder is very well put to work if you use it right and often.

my 4.3 40yard dash time and 4.09 shuffle time doesn't lie, and shuffle is a direct reflexion on your later quickness...

Get a piece of tape, make a line about 1 foot or so long, then jump back and forth from one to the other as fast as you can, do this in 30 secs intervals.

then once you get use to it, get creative

1 foot
both foot
every other

etc..
