Back when you got fu*ked up for rage quitting...
I had a boy who everytime he'd be about to lose in Mario Party 64, throw the remote at the cartridge and freeze the game. LIKE A BUM! It was his system so
... Sometimes he'd miss too...LIKE THE BUM HE WAS... Either way, we'd jump on him for wasting our time...

I went to a tournament around when MVC3 came out. I lose to this dude and he start screaming in my face. His boys behind him start turning up to. It's wall to wall neckbeards and rednecks in this lil a*s Gamestop.

I'm looking around like "I've made a huge mistake"

I don't know who it was on here, but I said in tournaments your opponent can hear button being pressed and he basically said I didn't know what I was talking about and that's not a thing...

Yet Core-A-Gaming (big on youtube) just showed it's a thing.

i remember playing FIFA and the person next to you would look at you controler to see what direction you were gonna shot when taking penalty kicks. That was very annoying

in the vid they mentioned that the person next to you can hear the input for your moves in f*ghting games and thus react to it. I dont play f*ghting games, so i never thought about that. But thats a good point, especially if you are playing in a tournament or something. Sitting side by side, especially if the seating is very close might not be the best option for competitive gaming. Maybe they could space out the seats a bit.

They have tournaments where they sit in front of each other, each with their own screen

I guess it's not like that every where

If he did, he'd make a mad dash toward the console. Marshawn Lynch style. You deadass had to be ready on your Ray Lewis sh*t with him....so many afternoons spent competing only to end in no contest. I'd be so tight.... SO TIGHT

That's how it was with my 2 cousins when I played them in Mario Tennis 64. Got to the point they wouldnt fu*k with me until the next day they dad picked us up from school. It was worse for them cuz I was in 4th grade and they was like 8th & 9th lol

I would've been stopped fu*king with him. I can't stand that sh*t.

But yeah. Space the competitors out or have them face to face.

At most regionals I watch they still sit side by side. But bigger stages like Evo, I believe they were separate, each with his own screen.

I forgot which Madden it was that introduced the "bluff play". It was either for Genesis or ps1

So I can have all run plays on my screen but the previous or next plays can be all pass.

So basically you scroll through, you see a hail mary. You scroll to next screen where it's all runs.

You press either L1 for the play screen lower or L2 for screen that's above & appropriate button for "hail Mary"

So the defense sees all run plays on screen and set defense to blitz. Meanwhile you're going for the deep pass.

Or maybe it was the 6 button Genesis button. I really don't remember
