Top 10 most depreciating cars.

Here are the top 10 fastest depreciating cars along with their percentage of how much value they lose in three years. Remember, the average for all vehicles is 35 percent.

BMW 5 Series - 52.6 percent
Volkswagen Passat - 50.7 percent
Mercedes-Benz E-Class - 49.9 percent
BMW 3 Series - 49.8 percent
Ford Taurus - 49.7 percent
Chrysler 200 - 48.4 percent
Volkswagen Jetta - 48.1 percent
Audi A3 - 47.9 percent
Cadillac SRX - 47.2 percent
Buick Enclave - 46.8 percent
Every car on this list comes from either a German or American brand. That means the reputation of Japanese vehicles having strong resale value holds up well according to this study.

I had a 03 Deville that came off the line priced around $45,000 i believe. Didnt even have Navigation until I put it in.

I think i grabbed it for 7 in 2009 or maybe a little later.

As much as i dig Cadillac id probably never buy 1 brand new their prices are ridiculous not to mention the head gasket issues.

Love finding used cars with low miles for cheap, idk if I’ll ever go back to leasing.

Not shopping right now but my next whip will be 12’-15’ Jaguar XJL supercharged, currently going for $30k-$50k

yeah i would stay away from those at all costs pretty much all mid-engines strictly due to their position and much limited access, let alone the proprietary parts

Just sold my wife's '04 Lexus RX330 for $6k. Only had 135k miles, but still don't know of too maNY '04s in that class that you could get racks for on a private party sale. We had it for 10 years with hardly any trouble out of it. We are shopping for a '15 or '16 RX for her.

My '04 LS430 with the Ultra Luxury pack is still going strong though. Still like it better than most brand new cars. Even the 3 newer body styles of the LS. I have had it 10 years and it still drives like it's new. Was around $105k brand new. I paid $30k (bought from Lexus wholesaler). I wouldn't take less than $12k for it if I were to sell it. Books for $11.5.

This is not how depreciation works lol.
A carís popularity or numbers doesnít automatically make it lose value faster. Usually itís the vehicle being unreliable that causes deprecitation because the odds of something breaking down are higher on most of those cars

A black man in a Porsche is the corniest thing I've ever seen. Maybe the Panamera is the only exception IMO

I fully respect their performance, but a grown man stepping out of a Porsche coupe is a funny thing to see.

I would imagine any SUV or utility vehicle is going to depreciate with the supply being so ridiculous now and a few companies stopping production of most of their sedan lines.
