We watched X when i was in high school, dude in my class got up and walked out the classroom during this scene, tears streaming down his face, now normally the teacher would’ve asked him where was he going and instructed him to sit back down...I’ll never forget on that day she simply let him walk out, she didn’t utter a word, the look on her face just said “I understand”...I’ll never forget that moment
thats real my dude

every time i watch that scene, it feel like the first time...

Sorry I haven't logged on, but in an attempt to be brief: As Neely Fuller jr. States, white supremacy (racism) is based on confusion and deception. Seeing as how white people are the ones who do the classifying, the power/ability to determine who gets to be white, and subsequently benefit from "white privilege", is their decision alone. This scene, if you basically want you can't start at the 6:30 marker, helps illustrate the fact that people groups who we NOW consider to be white, weren't always that way. Sicily is close to north Africa, and as such people traveled back and forth. That makes sense, but because of this fact Italian's were looked down upon by some in the dominant society. The name escapes me at the moment but there was a book about how the Irish became white, because when they first started migrating to north America they were not viewed as such. This video is very brief, but kinda explains the point:

Another quick example would be the KKK. Notice how they have disdain for "******s" and 2nd is always JEWS, who one could argue phenotypically are not too far away from Aryans. This paradox can only exist because, white supremacy (racism) in and of itself is not logical

I’m at a loss here. How does this scene help white people understand white supremacy? I don’t see how this scene would be enlightening to anyone who wasn’t Sicilian.

Racism isn’t mutually exclusive to white people. There is no such exclusion of any ethnicity from being racist or exercising racism. Regardless, I don’t see how that scene would help white people understand white supremacy. White supremacy is not being discussed within it.

That scene specifically, no. As I attempted to state, I use it in conjunction with a larger dialogue about what it really means to "be white"

Additionally could you give an example of "black" people being racist?

I still find it hard that you’re convincing white people what it means to be white, let alone with the aid of that scene. I mean, could you imagine the audacity of the shoe being on the other foot?

As for you wanting an example of “black” people being racist, how are you defining “black” and why does it matter if that particular group exhibits racism or not?

I agree with you that I don't have to explain to white people what it means to be white, they have developed and refined a code over hundreds of years. They got that sh*t sowed up.

As far as your question, let's define "black" as "the group of highly melanated people originating in the land mass that we refer to today as Africa". And the question is how do you define racism. Allow me to share my definition of racism:

a global socioeconomic system of people who classify themselves as white, and are dedicated to abusing and/or subjugating everyone in the known universe whom they classify as non-white .

Could you give an example of "black" people exercising racism?

That’s a strange definition of “black”. Am I to interpret “highly melanated” to mean only those with a dark complexion? Are we excluding lighter melanated people who originate from Africa? Also, when you say “originate” are you referring to people indigenous to Africa?

Your definition of racism is also peculiar, as I can’t find the word defined that way in a single dictionary. Unlike the word “black”, racism is not just some subjective and convoluted term. We have an objective definition for the term that does not resemble the one you’ve appear to have created yourself to fit a narrative.

Here is an OBJECTIVE definition of racism, devoid of bias and tampering:

rac·ism
/ˈrāˌsizəm/
noun

prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior.
"a program to combat racism"

synonyms: racial discrimination, racialism, racial prejudice/bigotry, xenophobia, chauvinism, bigotry, bias, intolerance

Nowhere in the definition of racism did there include any exceptions for an ethnicity or ethnicities, let alone one that is mutually exclusive to racism. Every human being on Earth is capable of practicing “prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior.”

Lastly, you didn’t answer why you want an example of racism from “black” people. Are you insinuating that “black” people cannot exhibit the traits defined above? Why do only want examples of “black” people and not also Asian or Spanish?
