i think the first answer is
1+9+11 if you add those together like this... 1 & 9 = 19 + 11 = 30

all you would need was the value on the other side of the equation. 6 ➗ 2(x + 2) = 9 6 ➗ 2x + 4 = 9 6 ________ = 9 / 1 2x + 4 cross multiply 6 = 18x + 36 1 = 3x + 6 5 = 3x 5/3 = x 1 2/3 = x 6 ➗ 2(1 2/3 + 2) ≠ 9 6 ➗ 2(x + 2) = 1 6 ➗ 2x + 4 = 1 6 ________ = 1 / 1 2x + 4 cross multiply 6 = 2x + 4 3 = x + 2 1 = x 6 ➗ 2(1 + 2) = 1 that's what @ meant but couldn't really explain why. multiple values can solve certain equations depending on the perception of how the formula is written I owe you an apology. the answer really is 1 because the multiplication thru the distribution of the parentheses takes priority over dividing 6 by 2.

6 ➗ 2(1 + x) = 9
6 ➗ 2 + 2x = 9 6 ________ = 9 / 1 2 + 2x cross multiply 6 = 18 + 18x 1 = 3 + 3x 2 = 3x 2/3 = x 6 ➗ 2(2/3 + 2) ≠ 9 6 ➗ 2(1 + x) = 1 6 ➗ 2 + 2x = 1 6 ________ = 1 / 1 2 + 2x cross multiply 6 = 2 + 2x 4 = 2x 2 = x 6 ➗ 2(1 + 2) = 1 @ n*gga that sh*t is 1. BX rithmetic got me today

sub out a number in the equation and you'd see the answer is unequivocally 1.

Regardless its not a math problem its a riddle. Your still carrying on like it's a proper equation when it's not.

Brackets exponents division/multiplication (left to right) addition/subtraction (left to right) what about it says it isnt proper to you? just cuz it has an obelus (÷) doesnt make it an incorrect equation. in fact the obelus takes away any ambiguity, the only ambiguity is when people a*sume a / means its a fraction which also isn't true. People just use that cuz its hard to right a proper formatted fraction on a computer.

Again we are probably debating over nothing because its not a properly written equation hence why it went viral.
