I find bicep curls with bands work better than dumbbells, the resistance from the band doesn't give any breaks.
Doesn't hurt to add weights too

I'm my hs height and weight, 6 ft 175. Had my annual November they told me I was dehydrated so I drink less tea and more water now. That's the only news they had.

I've said how I ballooned up to 245 from 190 on here before. When I decided I was too big I didn't work out at all. I just ate less and ate things that were real food. Basically fruit vegetables eggs and butter to cook the eggs. Drank water and juice that I made from the fruit and veggies.

I lost 20 pounds in 10 days and I didn't have any type of loose skin. Then I started lifting.

All I did was bench press until I got down to 190. When I reached 190 I started eating what I wanted again. I'm 175 now bc I changed what I eat. The ratio basically. I eat way more real food. I'm sure there were months I would go without eating a real raw fruit or vegetable. Eating fast food while I'm out for lunch and ordering it for dinner when I'm home.

I lost weight lifting too though, I wanted to box for the golden gloves so I went from 175 to 150. Worked out every day, couple times a day. Situps with the plates on my chest and sh1t. Idr how long it took to lose the weight but no loose skin.

I like the method he's talking about though. Muscle fatigue, having that mental number as a natural goal for reps. I just saw this study that had dudes pyramid up in weight to failure vs just reps with the same weight and they said the ppl who stayed at the same weight and just did more reps did better with the metrics they measured

He’s on to something tho…. High reps lighter weight have been working for me the past few months… not 100, but 3 sets of 25….. first ten being controlled with perfect posture/form, then ten quick ones to hit the fast twitch fibers, then the last 5 slow and concentrated. If I can exceed 5 slow reps, I’m good to increase weight, but the burn is always crazy at that point

I’m slowly but surely getting jacked minus the fatigue of tearing my muscles up with heavy a$s weight. It’s essentially adding cardio with the lifting and getting closer to calisthenics

then do set again but one less, counting down to 1;

- 30-second plank

- 9 squats

etc.. to 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1;
