That Pocket PC was dope. As for the Touch Pro & Touch Pro 2, I had so many issues with those phones. I think I went through no less then 10 warranty replacements. The thing was constantly glitching or breaking. They were cool phones though.

nowadays fancy phones are all basically the same with different software tweaks and buttons. back then different phones were buying an entirely different philosophy of what a phone should be

But then when companies innovate Y'all cry about the price and say 'who needs that sh*t anyways'?

n*gga had like five black berries... Loved those joints and the side kick. Still got my side kick too! I remember when the first joint with video recording for t mobile dropped. With Paris Hilton in the commercial. I used to film videos on my phone from the TV and play them sh*ts in the club with the phone on my belt. bi*ches love the dumbest sh*t lol

HTC touch phones were nice but the software was pure sh*t. The iPhone coming out massively pushed the bar for mobile experiences

Man, I was soooo deep in the Palm OS bootlegging scene back in the day. It was awesome being that kid in high school that could turn off any of the TV's from his phone and also emulating and playing games on it. That sh*t was straight up revolutionary back in the early 2000's.

Always wanted a Windows smartphone though.

phone makers haven't been innovative in a while.
even with this "new" foldable screens. yea it's advanced but they're just cute digital flip phones.
and i say that respectfully. the specs are still hitting. just not WOW like the first video phone.

however tbh what will be innovative? sh*t idk.
i just want to be able to use a phone with the brightest screen setting, downloading many apps with location on(i wouldn't)all w/o needing to charge my phone cause im still at 50% or so.

i didn't have a nextel until that $1 a day boost but that i860/i830 were fire.

plus Nextel had the loud ringers.

i wonder how a walkie talkie cell phone function will work today?

My first smartphone. I was the first n*gga in my hood with a touchscreen phone. Then I discovered a website called Smartphone Junkie, which led me to PPCGeeks, then XDA developers. I used to flash ROMs for family members and eventually cats from around the neighborhood and work.

yeah i remember Voxer as well.

I was mad late to the whole Voxer wave though. I first tried it out in 2014. By then it was no longer as popular.

I miss Nextel. Those direct phones were ahead of their time. I remember when the first i95 phone came out. sh*t was a big deal to finally have a Nextel phone with a color joint.
