In the latest (sick) SOURCE, with Lil' Kim looking like some kinda
clucker or shermhead, is that Biggie throwing up (or down) the Dub
with L.V. of South Central Cartel? Is this like respecting it or
(since it's inverted) disrespecting it?

Thoughts?

He is throwing down the dub! because he thought he'd nab it and make
it his own by calling in the Mafia sign! thus the upside down dub..

Do anyone got any info on Biggie's new album LIFE AFTER death?!?

After hating Biggie for so long, I'm actually now beginning to love this
guy!!

I've had his tape for so long but I'm only now beginning to understand
why everyone loved him back in 1994. My Biggie tape just sat there for
like 2 years now and I'm only now beginning to become the biggest Biggie
fan!!!! This was after his pop-stardom came and went, ain't that something!!

Everyone else saw his skills before me, then lyingly rejected Biggie's
skills as he went platnum and now is just hush hush about him. Typical
INTERNET LOSER SENERIO!!

Anyways, Life After death is the title of The Notorious B.I.G.'s next
album. I hope it arrives soon and I hope he don't change a thing!!!!

RAPPER SAE
You notice how the SAME ALBUM can be
thought of as the bomb!! one minute then some "radio hit skill-less, pop
rap for the masses" bulls**t the next by the SAME PERSON after people
outside of the Internet begins to like it? hahahha. you know who you are
who i'm talking. peace to real heads rick, lee, jay pearce!!!!! (not releated)
they don't change their listening preferences because of billboard charts.
ofcourse, rick, lee, jay have some f**king wack taste!! Dogg Pound, Bone Thugs,
Smoothe, Lost Boys, Kam, 2pac, eeeewwwww, especially 2PAC,
EEEEEEEWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!

are you really sure about this? now i don't know every rappers personal
history, but i'm real sure chris wallace went to jail for dealing drugs
or a.ssault which was probably related to the drug trade, but i don't want
to start any rumors, but that's the general feel i get from his various
interviews. it could be just all drama anyway. and as far as rae being
the first, maybe the first in 93?, no probably not. countless mc's out
there have brought the drug trade into their rhymes as a result of
personal experience. when 12 oclock said " you n*ggas selling cocaine,
you're to blame, black people lives ain't the same" he wasn't just
talking about the wu tang. it's hard to be black in this country and
not have you're life affected by the drug trade.

>Finally, I wish we could stop sweating Biggie, he's nice but Nas, AZ,
>Common Sense, and Q-Tip are all better lyricists.

i'll give you nas, az, and common, but q-tip? tip is a better mc, but
lyricist? lyricist - a dope writer. even if you consider all of
big's commercial mishaps, what song with just q-tip approaches
suicidal thoughts? it's real simple, and the words he uses aren't the
most thought out, but the impact of that cut is pretty heavy. tribe
is generally not focused in that direction, and the only song i can think
of where depression is the topic is 8 million stories which is just phife.

elevate, this is why rec music hip hop was created.

Why exactly did Dr. Dre sign Golden State Warriors to Aftermath? Does
he
>really see platinum potential or is this a way to regain some street
>credibility?

Why did he sign Last Emporer? Why did he supposedly sign Eminem? I doubt
he see's platinum potential.
I think Dre is smarter than we give him credit
for. Theres no doubt that he does some stuff cuz he know's he'll make money
but I think he has other things in mind. I think death Row wouldnt let him
do anything but gangstuh rap

Coolio was overrated? Holy f**k
one popular a.ss street single, and one mainstream a.ss single (gangsta's paradise) will easily do that for a 90s rapper. matter of fact, any west coast rapper that had a song on the radio was considered overrated to most of that era.

Haha that's funny, thanks for the throwback. I was on alt.rap in like '97 doing those lil "freestyle" tournaments we used to do constantly, my name on there was MrMagnifi. n*ggas had lyrics on there too... I still remember HeadzUp, Verbal, MrBravo, REDEEM etc. I still look some of that old sh*t up from time to time on google groups.
