already you can see people didn't watch the video.....what he was talking about had nothing to do with these n*ggas false claiming, but more about how they are perpetuating madness amongst kids who are lost already...giving them a soundtrack to ignorance, and unecessary violence all based off banging....which they are doing for entertainment, but becomes very real for people who are active out there....
waka flocka is the biggest clown to ever grace hip hop....he is the BLACK FACE of hip hop....he makes every racist proud, and stand up,and cheer everytime he opens his mouth,or makes a song....but waka himself is lost...he has no knowledge of self, and his madness is perpetuated by the people of influence around him.....which almost makes you feel a sense of depression behind the dysfunctional circle that seems to be never ending..
i like how the brother made his points as well...however it's so extremely hard to intellectualize this madness to kids...especially those brought up in it....or even worse those who are trying to pose as such, because they were influenced by music/media....but i applaud him for f!ghting the good f!ght..
Fuq all dat at the end of the day music is still just entertainment like movies that's why when people actually purchase CD's it says PARENTAL ADVISORY meaning whoever is listening to that CD should be MATURE or OLD enough to know its just music and entertainment not something to follow and live by. (That's like jits watching a movie or show and then going and shooting sum sh*t up the movie is not responsible its that jit and his parents issue)
+ If it was really and issue with rappers false claiming Bloods & Crips, Im sure the real Bloods & Crips that live that life would or will find a way to do sumthin about rappers false claiming because no one is untouchable. But they usually don't and just make videos like this talking a little bit of something but a whole lot of nothing. What they gonna do Ban all explicit movie and music because your dumb a.ss child wants to act out what they see or hear get real. It's 2010 no more blame game it starts with raising your child correctly.
so you sit there and say music is still just entertainment and then post up tha brotha Dee-1 who is spitten some thought provoking music...u see how u just contradicted ur statement.. entertainment on any form..music and movies taps into ur subconscious..it tapped into urs because u responded to it..u just aint made the connection because ur not conscious of it's impact..
2nd nobody really buys music nemore period..so a child can easily go on the computer and go to youtube n listen to these songs..so the seed of ignorance is already planted..true entertainment alone is not responsible for the childs actions..but it plays a role..eventually the bottom line is the enviornment or the parenting..society..which includes music, movies, televison..but I don't think you saw the video of the brotha speaking on crips n bloods because he never did say it was soley music..he wasn't kicking that..and if you did watch the video n still came to that conclusion then you missed the point of the video
3rd the hip-hop nation where this brotha was speaking on is a panel of brothas n sistas who be in the streets talking to real gang members..Wacka Flocka n whoever aint that easy to get ahold of unless they come up with some scheme to book a show for these artist so they can set em up n give em a real good knowledge section..n that aint happening..what they gone do?? talk to em after a show n get past there bodygaurds?? n who's to say they haven't already tried to reach out to these artist n these artist wasn't trying to hear it.. I know for a fact these brothas n sistas be out on tha streets talkin to real gang members.. I don't see how u can post up that positive video of Dee-1 n then s**t on this brotha when they were both saying the same thing..I don't think u actually watch tha video patna
