Almost a flawless track

Sometimes I got to slap myself when I go back and bump a few Pac traps after it’s been awhile and get reminded he’s head and shoulders above any artist not named Nasir

Edit: Pac >>> Nas

The third verse on this sh*t.... when I rap this sh*t and it just keeps flowing and u can feel that aggression... sounds like the realest sh*t he wrote. The emotion. The rawness.

This track could put a peaceful person into a war ready mentality..........R.I.P. to the Goat

How could the same individual take you from a track as aggressive as that, to a soulful thought provoking song like this.........

People have no idea.......That was a crazy time for that man. Lawsuits...filming Above the Rim.....Kicking it with them New York Gangstas.....bouncing back n forth from Atlanta where he moved to get away from the madness......I could go on and on. Thatís why this and Makaveli is his most potent material. I still battle my inner self on which album I like more.

probably the only track that pac blacks out harder on than that , and rearview

I'd rather die like a man than live like a coward
There's a ghetto up in Heaven and it's ours
"Black Power!" is what we scream
As we dream in a paranoid state
And our fate is a lifetime of hate
Dear Mama, can you save me? And fu*k peace
ĎCause the streets got our babies, we gotta eat
No more hesitation, each and every black male's trapped
And they wonder why we suicidal running 'round strapped
Mr. Police, please try to see
That there's a million motherfu*kers stressin' just like me

People always talk about how bro wasn't lyricsl too, but I write and always find myself geeking over some of his rhyme schemes, that third verse included
And donít forget how he made me and my girlfriend cause people said he couldnít rap metaphorically. Basically was the inspiration for Nas I gave you power in one studio session

Iíve always kinda been intrigued to hear this. I always thought Pac was bull sh*tting. But thereís like 7/8 original versions from MATW which havenít leaked - so that could be an insane revelation.

That death Around The Corner OG with Stretch is wild too
Only fear of death was probably supposed to be on it. Song has a similar vibe to suicidal thoughts and big could of heard and got influenced. I'm just speculating though

7 Day Theory is one of the most beautifully aged albums, I swear. I personally see Pac as having the big three: MATW, AEOM, and 7 Day. Each one served a purpose and each one was a snapshot of a moment. What made 7 Day so special to me is the artistic license he took. This is the most daring album in his diacography. And given that he was the last one he made living it really makes you wonder what he was evolving into.

Man.

Don't know which version of "Only fear of death" you preferred, but I loved this one because the beat set the tone for some suicidal out of my mind type sh*t.........
