Anybody who believes this go through your league history (as long as it's a 2rb/2 wr starting league and no ppr) and see who was the top scorer and who won the chip was each year. I can almost bet 80% of the time (or probably more) the top scorer and chip winner (top scorer is a better measurement) drafted an rb within the first 2 rounds. I just went through 10 years in my main league and not one person who didnt take an rb in the first 2 rounds has ever been top scorer or won the chip
This post demonstrates such a sh*t concept of mathematics that I don't even know where to begin.

You really think a double digit sample size of no data other than your own subjective experiences in your own league constitutes fu*k all for statistics? And that's before addressing the fact that you pulled "80%" out of your a*s which you could only "almost" bet on. What's the confidence on that bet? +/- 80%?

Leave your personal experiences out of the equation and consider for a second that depending on the league members, draft position, and actual choice of players, drafting 2 wide receivers in the first two rounds still leaves a plethora of deep sleepers for an owner to gamble on.

You didn't even touch on the strategy of drafting the best player available, which may very well be the scenario for plenty of league owners with the last pick of the 1st round and 1st pick of the 2nd.

What about all the players who won their league despite having a season ending injury for their first round draft picks? Or players who won their league despite rolling with Bell last season at 1, and a receiver at 2 (therefore 0 RBs), as a perfect example? You think no Bell owners won their leagues last year? Because no Bell owner had 2 RBs that would contribute for him last season as he entered round 3 of his draft.

RB is an unreliable position every year. After the handful of elite guys who can themselves still get injured in any given season, most of the field is wide open. Deciding not to deal with that elite pool in a particular year does not put one out of fantasy playoff contention before the season starts. No league worth a damn is won in those first few rounds anyway.

Here comes this bird chested f*g**t. If your redneck, skoal chewing a*s could read I said to go through your league and see the results of teams who didnt draft an rb in the first two rounds. You can say whatever the fu*k you want...you waiting until the 30th+ pick to take an rb where it's nothing but backups... ur not winning sh*t unless you get completely lucky and snag a James connor caliber guy in fa. You're one of the least knowledge people on this forum on sports and in here trying to spit game

Go watch a tractor pull on TV or something you triple chinned hick

outside a top 6-8 pick as u see with those ADPs

it was a crap shoot at RB last year

you just hope to get it right

I took Gordon at 11 and finished 11-2 and lost Week 15 to dude with Mahomes

I also took Cook at 12 in another league and finished 5-8

Josh Jacobs and Aaron Jones are 3rd and 4th rounders with RB1 upside

just gotta get it right no matter where u pick RB

Terrible...running backs are the most important position in fantasy. I love it when guys give receivers first. Have one dude who always does that (goes 2 wrs and a qb...always ends up with RBS getting him 5 a week and team is super trash). You get a solid running back you're golden...receivers you can always pick up in free agency who's serviceable and many more to choose from. You prob got 12 or so solid rbs....then the next tier theres a significant drop with receivers the drop isnt as much...if you need an rb halfway through the season they're all gone..gotta go grab a backup getting 3 points a game. Receiver you can always grab a guy who's getting 7-8 and every other week therea a new breakout receiver because a wr goes down in high powered offense or a qb just starts hitting a slot receiver for bombs consistently. Do this methos... ur team going to be garbage. You got a shot at solid RBS with your first 2 picks...take them.

Also trade bait..halfway throughbthe season you have a good rb core and can trade one somebidybis out there in dire need...not so much with receivers.
Facts.... However if you're at the back end of the draft, like picks 9-12, you can snatch up a Michael Thomas and JuJu for your first two picks. Then, maybe an Adam Theilen and get a Phlip Lindsey or Kerryon Johnson at the bottom of the 4th rd. Your team could pan out but it's a huge gamble. You would have to find a hidden gem at the RB spot with your later picks.

TE isn't important enough to take anyone off the board in the second round over a RB. Not even kelce or ertz were worth doing that for last year. You can survive waiting on TE if the rest of the draft is solid
I agree but those 3 guys are basically big a*s receivers. Kelce and kittle were top 10 in receiving. Ertz was top 20

Word up... I made that mistake last year and I had an awful season. Never again will I fu*k with WR over RBs lol.

Did a 12 team mock draft again (9th pick), went the first 3 rounds without an RB.. missed out on Kelce, picked Mahomes in the 3rd

Qb: Mahomes
Wr: Adams, Odell, Watkins, Jones Jr, Allison
Rb: Johnson, Drake, Coleman, Jones II, Justice Hill
Te: Herndon, Rudolph
K: Crosby
Dst: Chicago

Not mad at it, TE position is weak, shoulda went TE when I picked Watkins way too early. Not mad at this strategy so far though
