I see your kicking that pseudoscience as well.

Those sculptures look like the natives that are still in the region. African people don't have a monopoly on thick lips and wide nostrils. Plus, the epicanthic eyelids wouldn't fit your argument. There isn't a single genetic study done on Indigenous Americans or on the corpses of ancient Indigenous civilizations that shows a significant African presence.

You can find evidence all throughout the Americas of pyramid-building civilizations literally developing the technology on their own.

If pyramid building was imported, you wouldn't see evidence of Indigenous Americans literally building over previous structures and improving on their own techniques.
Yall both leaving aliens out of this.

Mansa Musa was left his fortune by Abu Bakr I.
Abu left it to him when he decided to make a trip across the Atlantic.

Christopher Columbus' navigator was a Moor that had crossed the Atlantic to the new world many times before him.

Lastly you can test the gold found from ancient south America to see where t was quarried from. A lot of the Meso American gold is from west africa

Its very possible that Africans were sailing to the Americas prior to Columbus, but it is not possible that it occured at the scale and for the duration that these guys are claiming. There simply isn't enough trace evidence to show that any African definitely made the voyage, so you can't make this gigantic claim just because it's possible to make the voyage.

people out here trying to create alternate history to feel better about themselves

Nothing corroborates that Abu Bakr I traveled to the Americas. Its more likely that he found the Azore or Canary Islands.

The navigators that Columbus used had not been to the Americas before. In his journal, he writes that they had just passed South of Japan. Any skilled navigator that had made the voyage many times prior would not think that Japan was smack dab in the middle of the Atlantic.

Cite the study supporting that pre-Columbian gold artifacts used gold quarried from West Africa.

Honestly one thing I do find hard to believe is all this "AFRICAN HISTORY" generalizations.

In all actuality shouldn't it be rich and very diverse with cultural history seeing as its a huge CONTINENT with many different (still african/black) people. The blanket statements about culture religon etc from africa makes me not want to listen because I just don't see the tribesman of Swaziland being the same as the Maasai, Kenyans, ethiopians etc

And thats where the argument falls apart.

When you break down the argument, no one people fits the bill.

The Olmec heads look more like West Africans than they do Egyptians. So the argument requires allegedly the Mandinka people, a culture not known for pyramid building, and the Egyptian people living in southern Mexico/Central America at the same time.

Yet, there is no evidence to point to any single migration event occuring. No date prior to the Olmec heads to corroborate either Egyptians or West Africans making the voyage.

The best you can do is a*sume that some people did in fact make the trip simply because humans do incredible sh*t, but that it was rather rare or very uncommon, and never in mass.

I dont think those people were "Africans" i think those peoole were native south americans with similar facial features....

im all for black pride but if West Africans were really navigating as a people history wouldve played out much different...

if your claim is only a few of us navigated to the point where the history of it disputable... than whats the point neway

Those were Siberian hunter gatherers, not Africans.

Genetic studies on Naia, the oldest skeleton ever found in the Americas had genetic studies done on it that linked it to Siberian hunter gatherers.
Huh? 1st off, keyword is FOUND! 2nd, where did Siberians come from if the craddle of human civilization is East Africa?

but aren't the egyptians (as we know them) of arabic descent? I work with many egyptians and they most definately dont fit the bill as a "black" person just off looks..or culture....or much of anything.

I agree that they may have made it to south america where some could have continued through but not in a huge number. Few here, few there and damn sure wouldnt think they would make it back.

I personally love seeing people who appear 100% black (african descent) but are of a different culture all together. Like Afromexicanos and the many others in sur America

Little off topic but I’ve been to a town in Wisconsin that was called Aztalan and it was near a Rock Lake. The bottom of the lake supposedly has pyramids. Just curious if your familiar with the place or have heard of those pyramids there. The Native built mounds are still there as are some remnants of building sites of the people there at the time. It’s a awesome sight to visit. Great fishing there also. It’s located right next to the Crawfish River. You could imagine how great the natives had it who lived there.
