Soul caliber was amazing....and so was Power Stone.

No damn DVD player was a hilarious mistake. Had me learning online how to create VCD disk so I could bootleg cartoons for my daughter to watch.

Taught me a lot about bootleging games, game systems and movies. Thank you for that Sega!

Also taught me that some older cartoon's wear never made for kids that look like me

...Dreamcast Mini? Why, when you can just cop the real system and some blank CDs & bur--Nevermind

But anyway, what can be said that hasn't already been said? Excellent system that was ahead of its time (a console internet browser in the late '90s/early 2000s? Bruh...), and you were pretty much in heaven if you were a f*ghting game and/or Capcom fan, with all the heat they dropped on the Dreamcast (I still play & prefer the DC versions of Marvel Vs. Capcom 1 & of course 2, Capcom Vs.. SNK 1 [while the gameplay is not as refined as it's non-US DC sequel, I love the backgrounds/stages in this one, with a couple combining the Capcom & SNK universes], Power Stone 1 & 2, Project Justice [the sequel to Rival Schools {Arcade & PS1}], SF Alpha 3, & the first Soul Calibur [still one of the greatest launch titles to this day]).

Some other great & not-so-great DC games I still play are Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 (the first one moreso), Shenmue 1 (up until I got stuck/bored of it years ago, that is lol), all three Street f*ghter 3 games, Cannon Spike, Mr..Driller, Chu Chu Rocket, & Twinkle Star Sprites.

But yeah, it was sad to see the system go due to Sega's bungling & financial issues, especially since Sega was just about to hit its stride with SegaNet, but I doubt it would've lasted much longer against the PS2 (speculation).

Felt like Iím part of the reason they went out of business. I somehow kept getting free games
Bruh, I remember the early days of downloading games from IRC. Had to download like 50 .rar files, extract them bi*ches and use I think Discjuggler. I remembered when we upgraded from AOL to cable internet and I would download a couple games a day. I had literally a sh*t load of games lol. Used to flip the, bi*ches at school for 20-25. A young boy would be hustling. Had the hood schools and white schools in lock. Peoples parents would hit me up for specials. I wish I stayed in my it grind like that. But something legit.

Just curious, Amy of my brothers from this time period around and what did this result in? Iím still in IT but I need some challenge

kay slay and dreamcast kept me feed back in the day. Also, I was a paperboy at the time and one of my customers was DJ Pharris a popular dj at the time for a major hip-hop station here in Chicago. I use to break him off with ish then hear it on the radio on Saturday nights. Most people on my route use to tip during christmas but he never would

Those early BX days

Amazing console released where the timing (commercially) was not successful. Still tho, it's easily one of the best consoles of all time (along with the PS2) imo.

That intro-jingle still gives me goosebumps.

I was this close to pulling the trigger on a black Dreamcast and a handful of games on eBay but they wanted almost $100 and I can't do that maybe another time.

Crack head was trading in one at GameSpot Monday when I went to cop my Pro. Had like 10 games too.

I was mad cuz he was holding up the line but in hindsight I should have tried to purchase it from him.
