Yeah thats what they were hinting at years ago when they announced that they were changing over to rear wheel drive, but seeing as how sedan sales keep sinking it may be less likely. These companies keep claiming that sedans aren't selling but Toyota keeps selling nearly half a million Camrys every year. Honda is never far behind either.

A redesigned Mazda 6 with that new inline 6 would be fire but people will turn up their noses because it's a Mazda. I can see it already. Then they will have to come up with a new badge and name to attract buyers.

If it was built on an existing Ford platform, it would be the Explorer/Aviator platform, not the Edge/Corsair. This car is rear wheel drive. According to what I been seeing and reading about this car in the last few years though, it's an entirely new platform.

I love Toyota but currently, Toyota doesn't have anything in their lineup that can match this CX-90. You would have to step up to Lexus for the RX but you'd be getting a smaller, front wheel drive vehicle with a not so refined 4 cylinder. However, I'm sure they're not losing any sleep cause Lexus/Toyota buyers are pretty loyal.

Lexus was doing that for a long time and Acura is doing that in their new cars still, not sure if in all of them but I know you are forced to use a dial in the TLX. I also hate them they bury all the controls in the infotainment. You gotta go through like 3 menus just to turn your AC on or off or turn your heated seats on.

I had a Camry for 10 years, and other Toyotas over time, but this specific car was great. Never had a single issue. I also was a technician at a Toyota dealership for a long time as well so I'm well aware of them. However, I just recently switched over to an Accord Sport 2.0 because well... It's better than the Camry in every way imaginable. Now, it is turbocharged so naturally, the longevity of the powertrain won't be like that of a Camry. That was something I was willing to trade for a car with more guts, better tech, better ride quality and looks. It's not my daily so I'm not really worried.

When I was younger, I thought fast = best.

Now, I rather have reliable and slow/quiet.

Began driving my car slower (a Toyota) and the performance has completely transformed.

I love when it up and down shifts, and I dont hear or feel a thing.
