For lasting tire shine, try Meguiars tire gel

Works amazing.

However reapplication sucks. You gotta strip it off the tire then reapply.

I use this. Dont have to worry about it getting all over your fender when you driving.
This sh*t right here is awesome. I was using the extreme spray but the gel is on point. Takes a lil longer to apply but lasts for a long time, even through rain.

This is good too, and it lasts forever but it costs $12-$15 a bottle and you gotta order it. So I keep the hotshine on deck because I can get it locally for $6 a can. I use the chemical guys vrp dressing once in a while. All I use is chemical guys but I keep that Maguires hot shine in the stash that's how good it is.

Yo i hit a exposed sewer ccover in baltimore yesterday fu*king up my muffler? now its loud than a bi*ch. I managed to wire it to the bottom on the car so it's not dragging for real but anyone got tips on what i can cover the hole with just as a quick fix????
You can get heavy duty aluminum tape from an auto parts store for a quick fix. Last for a little while, but not a long term solution.

Depending on the size of your hole you can try this stuff called Quick Steel.

Props.

Do you have any tips for getting your tires to have that wet look like the car wash?
Meguiar Endurance Tire Gel all day. Just make sure to use something like this so you dont get it on your rims.

I'm going to try that apparently keeps your tires shining for months.

The tips on my AMG get hella dirty after awhile but I typically use a fine steel wool pad you can buy at Wal-Mart or Auto Zone, to keep from scratching the chrome, and that Never Dull polish works wonders afterwards. Never thought of using the baking soda with the scotch brite as I normally use soap and water, but I will have to try that good looking out.

Adams super V.R.T. is the best for tires. It gives you a nice shine and doesn't run on your vehicle like the others. It goes on clean and stays on. It's also good for trim.

Use a degreaser first if you want to make the job easier. Personally I wouldn't use the Brillo pad because it's going to scratch it. Just use a microfiber towel after you spray it down with the degreaser. I detail cars all the time so little stuff like this is easy to clean for me. I work at a dealership so the chemicals I use aren't available in stores. I'll make a thread of people want it on what I do for a full car detail or if people want to know how to apply xzilon for the exterior or interior of your car. Wheel cleaning and carpet cleaning. Quick tip that you guys could do on your car to make it look nice like your tires is if you have any of that plastic/vinyl trim on your car, you can spray a tire dressing on a microfiber towel and wipe it over that to make it shine. It's a small detail but it helps.

I used the:

and

But they just don't seem to keep that luster.

NOOOOOO never use those over the counter products on your car they dont last long and not as good. However for Tire Shine you use the meguiars gel homie last for week or more depending on weather. I use strictly Chemical Guys products only if anybody has questions hit me up.
