biscuit said To be fair, John Elway's era is completely different than Russell Wilson's. Elway was drafted in a run first era where the West Coast offense was just becoming established. Russell Wilson's era is one where the rules in the game have been changed to protect the QB in order to protect the passer and promote higher scoring game. There's a ton of other differences as well but to keep the post short and to the point, it's different eras. Still a great QB though.

To be fair, manning is widely considered the best ever not named Brady, don’t shoot me, I’m a Brees guy, but just saying Peyton us heralded as one of the goats, much more so than Elway, but Wilson’s numbers are better than mannings, so OP has a relevant argument.
