Alot of these athletes tweeting support I feel are being politically correct. Kobe got fined for calling a n*gga a fuking phaggot. I find it hard to believe that this many people openly support this lifestyle. Me personally, i could care less about what he does. Im neither for or against gays. i have a feeling there is more to his coming out party than we are seeing though. His career is ending and being the first to come out has just opened many more doors for him outside of the NBA.
Kobe came out on his own. How exactly is that being politically correct?
I was once homophobic too. You know the difference between people who realized their ignorance(Like Kobe) and other people?? They're willing to admit wrong. They evaluate their views and why it makes sense. They take out the religious bullsh*t even if they are religious
Firef!ghters, Military men, all kinds of people are gay. I've seen some of the coolest people, when I was homophobic...who happened to be gay. And then I had to ask myself why? Why do I hate someone for something that isn't my business? If someone treats the people around them right, shouldn't they be judged on that?
I swear...some people speak out against gays way more than they speak out against rapists and murderers, or celebrities that glorify violence and drugs. These days the homophobe is more likely to get backlash in comparison to the gay person, and that's a great thing. And it wasn't always that way. It became that way because of people who fought for what's right
