Question. If an artist creates a picture ...one with a brush and the other with a pencil is it going to look the same? The tools used matter I'm certain. It's a minor critique show is still good.

Got was and is my shyt but it had it's own plot hole problems. But HoD has some of its own too. But this show is just as good as Got cause it doesn't have any of the element of surprise besides the changes in writing.

So claiming it's not as good as Got with understanding people were hating on Got season 1 and 2. I was a die hard fan from jump cause it's something we never seen on a scale like that before ever. Especially for fantasy a genre people have historically hated before appreciating much later

el bundy said So after some time to let the whole season sink in, I gotta say that it definitely isn't as good as GOT. As intriguing as the story is, something about the way its been executed is not as good. Mostly, the dialogue in GOT sh*ts all over HOTD. That's not to say its bad at all, I enjoy it for sure. Its just not amazing 10/10 status of the original series. It definitely has potential to be on that level but I think they need better actors and dialogue.

I agree. The show runners also promoted the series as if their main focus was staying true to GRRMs writings then after reading comments I find out they changed ALOT of things. HOTD feels like 25% Game of thrones, 50% soap opera & 25% PROP pr0n.

Dialogue was replaced by 15 min soft pr0n scenes and theme music.

It’s dressed up like kush but this first season was mid. The casting was below mid and the dialogue was never compelling. Episode 1 was 10/10 and everything after that was mid grade filler to show off their props and unconvincing CGI.

The props were the stars of season one.

Alright. Admittedly episode 10 was amazing.

Overall, it was a very enjoyable series but I still think it presented some glaring weaknesses when comparing it to its predecessor.

Super excited for season 2 though.
