Lot of rappers Pac would have or had nothing for if we being honest
I notice yall nerd type fans flockin to hate on Pac's artistry

One sided n*ggas who only acknowledge certain aspects of being a good well rounded artist

n*ggas love rhyme schemes more than impactful, timeless music

Dudes couldnt touch pac's catalog if they wanted to

Every album legendary

I'm so sick of this narrative. It's mostly from NYC hip hop fans that think lyrics revolve around everything. A battle rap isn't about how lyrical or how much wordplay you can put together. It's about the delivery, the tone, and the level of disrespect. You're on a hip hop forum, but yet still haven't analyzed the greatest diss songs of all time. When you listen to a song like Ether, "It's not a lyrical masterpiece." It's name-calling, personals, and disrespect. The same goes for Hit Em Up. Lyricism is not want wins in the world of battle records! Stop talking about lyricism when it comes to battle records. Leave the argument around lyrics for face to face battles that you'll see on Smack URL.

2pac & Nas are my GOATS.

Nas was fukkin filthy with the wordplay on this,, seamless flow as usual,, but it wasn't anything brash or as hard as Pacs. It was still nasty though because the whole flow was calm & collected

Only one person brought up being lyrical. If we talking lyrically Pac ain't even top 20 but Pac is in my top no doubt for reasons other than rapping his a*s off

Ether is overrated too

You're in the minority. The consensus is that it's among the greatest hip hop diss tracks of all time. The point is that diss songs are not about lyrical genius.

He didn't address anything about pac

And if he did decide to rap on it then never use it

It shows he has tact and love for his brothers still

Because as a professional he didn't go that route.

Cool verse but stretch of a topic
I must have mis heard then , I thought he said something about 2pac pretending

Pac was great at writing about life experiences but he was no means an elite writer in the same vein as Nas, Big or Jay.
This has to be the dumbest take yet lol

Pac literally wrote nothing but hit records. His range is unmatched. No other artist in any genre had the range Pac had.

Biggie is one dimensional.
Jay is doesn't really have any classic songs and is more known for being rich.
Nas is a skilled MC but is garbage as an artist. He can't write a song or pick a beat to save his life. That's why he's legendary underachiever.

See now you being disrespectful how many times you heard them rappers on death Row say PAC used to just write lyrics go in the booth and just rip that sh*t. A lot of that stuff we hear is with PAC writing his lyrics within no more than 10 mins and going in the booth and ripping that sh*t in one take. ONE TAKE!! Thatís how come he had so many songs. I guarantee you Jay Z and Nas couldnít do that if they did the song would probably be trash. PAC did that all the time and most of the time the song was some heartfelt sh*t.

Depends on your definition of lyrical. For some reason dudes think lyricism is just complex rhyme schemes. Pac was just as lyrical the 3 dudes you mentioned.

Just my PERSONAL OPINION
Facts! The purpose of lyrics are to be palatable & relatable to the public at large. Listeners shouldn’t have to decipher double entendres, subliminals, etc. Pac is universally more beloved than all three of those rappers, due to the fact that he broke it down to the simplest form for the listener.

Then biggie them shoulda had no problem going at him directly instead of subliminally.

Pac was loud, but he was also a soldier. Them n*ggas didnít have any a*surance that Pac was JUST a Loud mouth

Cuz if anything, big and all the others were just rappers. They couldnít deal with how Pac was always ready for war and that type of energy.

I mean them n*ggas didnít say sh*t. Not a ďfu*k uĒ, not a ďeat a d*ckĒ, nothin lol

I mean of course until after he died

I see you cannot name the rest them because they do not matter...Plus the Diss Records by Biggie, Jeezy, & Clipse were never on heavy rotation numbers wise ... you make Diss Records to sell the singles for the album...and 2Pac, Gucci Mane, Drake Diss Records for their album sold more when it debut...

Yeah, Pac was so much of a loud mouth, that he let his guns do the talking when his bullets went inside two white officers in Atlanta, Georgia.
