They still have 2-year contracts. They're just tied to the phone and not the plan. Nothing more than clever wording.
Wrong. You can pay of the device at anytime. Which yeah most people aren't going to do that but you're not locked into anything compared to being in a contract.

And you can break your 2-year plan contract at anytime by paying a fee. It's no different than the 2-year installation plan.

Dummy came in here talking bout "wrong."

Next time know what you're saying before you quote me.

You obviously don't understand the difference between credit(financing) and being in a contract. Two diff things, you can finance a phone for 100 bucks. Contracts were like 650 and you got a free 100 dollar phone retard. Lol this guy.

Let me break things down for this moron since simple concepts are beyond his grasp:

Option 1:
-- 2-year plan contract w/one-time $200 payment for a high-end phone
-- Can break contract at anytime for a fee. Fee reduces significantly over time.

Option 2:
-- 2-year monthly installation plan for a high-end phone that costs $750
-- Can break installation plan at anytime by paying off the device. Cost to break from the plan reduces significantly over time.

There's no difference you fockin idiot. It's all the same sh*t with different wording.

And nobody is financing a $100 phone for 2 years except dumb, broke n*ggas like you. Jesus Christ this guy is OD stupid.

problem is, in order to upgrade on verizon's lease plan, you have to have paid 50% of the phone off before you can upgrade, so you could upgrade every 3-5 months, but you'd be paying for half of the phone every time you upgraded.
and they would just turn around and sell that phone as refurbished at 80% of the price on amazon

they eating more then ever

They've done this for some time now. Verizon aint slick. Only reason they're doing this is to edge people into buying more phones per year. You dont get discount upgrade pricing anymore. Matter of fact there was a time you didnt even pay an activation/upgrade fee(not including the phone) at all. Then it went from 15 to 30. Now when you upgrade, you gotta pay full retail price + activation. They know most people not gonna drop $700+ on a phone right then. So they edge you into financing the phone and paying monthly installments. Not to mention how they always quietly, randomly change conditions in their plans. Verizon is greediest phone carrier out of all imo. Thats why so many people under them buy cheaper second handed phones or end up switching carriers.
So true but i get service everywhere with verizon....bill sucks tho....im thinking about switchin soon...my bill is like a damn car note
