I definitely think Disney a good investment

But Netflix will easily survive this they’ve cemented their place

Theirs a guy who wants them to buy Sony studio to be more competitive
I agree

So people invest in Disney on the 1st day to get in on it

Netflix will be there u can buy back the stock u sold with more money in your pocket

That’s why everyone battles for Market share

Disney cool, but I truly don’t give a sh*t about most of the stuff they got to offered. With the exception of the Simpsons, and I can’t see myself paying $7 for their Disney kids catalogue

When apple’s streaming comes.. that’s the real threat.

Apple has more cash than they know what to do with it. Just like Apple Music, they fu*ked around now they’re the largest streaming subscribers in music

I read somewhere that since they also own most of hulu and espn they may bundle all 3 services which would be super convenient and an easy sell for most.

Same. I can count on one hand how many times I watched a non Starwars/marvel Disney movie over the past few years.

I own the Star Wars, Marvel, and other Disney movies I actually like. If they're just going to be dropping TV shows here and there, that's not enough for me either

Same sh*t i said when my wife was telling me about it. They will get a feel for the market and within a couple months of it dropping all of a sudden they will increase the price. Doubt it will get as high as Netflix for the time being but this is Disney we are talking about...MFs take their movies off the shelves and put them back on at $30 like they are brand new

Disney Chief Financial Officer Christine M. McCarthy hinted Disney Plus pricing may rise as the service advances, calling the $7-a-month fee an "initial" price. The company also said it's likely to bundle Disney Plus with Hulu and ESPN Plus, offering a discount if you subscribe to two or three of its streaming options.

“Netflix and Contented

Sometimes it is hard being in a relationship when all you want to do is watch Netflix and chill.
My girlfriend keeps telling me I need to get out more and meet some new people since I work from home.
We have a conflict of interest because she wants to go out on the town over the weekend instead of getting more takeaway and watching something on Netflix.
My girlfriend gets angry, and she starts yelling at me, trying to alter my tedious ways.
I wish to live a simple and quiet life, minding my own business, but my girlfriend wants the lifestyle of a socialite.
My girl likes to watch reality TV, especially the Kardashians, and she enjoys taking notes from their glamorous lifestyle.
I watch the news channels, seeing all the devastation unfolding around the world, and I tell my girlfriend it doesn’t pay to be out and about all the time.
I start clashing with my girl because she’s more of a gregarious person, but I have become more introverted over the years.
I am contented with the simple things in life, like having a cup of coffee in the morning and reading[…]”
