If you're using the excuse she 'got out the next movie' then your Thanos logic fails cause he's about to lose in less than a month.
Okay. She doesn’t die.

Dark Knight and Watchmen are 2 comic books ones.

Ex Machina.

Shutter Island.

Gone Girl.

There's others like f*ght Club, Nightmare on Elm Street, Silence of The Lambs, The Usual Suspects but OP claimed some recently and I don't know what 'recently' is to him so I'll keep it around the last 10ish years.

And OP's the one arguing just to argue. He clearly made it seem like Villians never win and Thanos is some exception to the rule. Then in the next post he moves the goalposts to 'recently' then afterwards he tries to dissect every movie where the Villian clearly wins.
You lying to yourself. Thanos is unique. Thanos is the actual, true villain and he won. He was not a secret villain with some secretive villain agenda...or some secret worm escape reveal at the movie’s end. Thanos did exactly what he said he’d do and he did it blatantly and could not be stopped.

Why ? Why ? Why ? Why ? Is it to make me mad ? What is the point of lying when it’s right here.

RARELY. Raaaaaarely what in the fu*k is wrong with you people.

Why are you n*ggas so odd ? Are you from another country ? I can understand.

But you’re making sh*t up. Why ? Why ? Why do you n*ggas lie.

I’ve said it like 5 times now.

RARELY NOT EVER where the fu*k did you get clearly from ?

What thread are you in ? Like Jesus fu*king Christ ?

Thank you.

Not a lot of villains do that.

Not a lot of movies, double down. Dawg even I the dark knight the jokers win was undermined by Batman takin the blame.

Thanos k*lled everybody and it ended.

sh*t it’s gone be 22 days since the day of, when Endgame takes place. The L has sunk in.

The avengers coming for game 2. Issa 1 - 0 lead right now. I don’t get why n*ggas are acting funny. Now Thanos didn’t win.

I don't really have a dog in this f*ght otherwise. It's too easy to point out movies whether the villain actually wins. Whether one thinks it is rare or not is subjective and depends entirely on what movies they've seen.

However it certainly isn't common or the norm.

Anyways, dude should have listed better movies to prove his point. TDK and Watchmen are classic examples. Why the fu*k didn't he just say that?

I might disagree with Shutter Island though.

I'm not lying to myself you just moving the goalposts.

No where was it asked about 'true villains' and having blatant schemes.

What was asked was name a recent movie where the villain won.

Name a movie off the dome right now where the villian won, not that that was his point. He's clearly talking about now. In today's cinema culture.

[pic - click to view]

but come on. Don't do that.
Now you asking me to name a movie, outside of a comic book movie AND recent, where the Villain was physically dominate the majority of the whole movie and wasn't scheming. You got it if that's the prerequisites.

At any point y'all n*ggas is arguing just to argue.

Whether Doc's nerd a*s said villains rarely win - he'd be right.

Whether you saying villains do win in SOME movies - you'd be right too.

Splitting hairs. Pretty sure y'all n*ggas are smart enough to understand his point. In comic movies it would be extremely rare.

Alien Covenant (and I hate this film with a passion)

No Old Country for Old Men

Watchmen

Gone Girl

Star Wars Revenge of the Sith

And I'm pretty sure I'm missing some others.

Watchmen was a win by loss.

Thor purposely destroyed his planet. Because it had to be.

John wick wins in 1, and makes the choice to k*ll homeboy in the hotel.

I'm on chapter V, yo his dad is kinda yeesh yo. Their relationship complicated as hell.

His moms all fu*ked up too. (as in she's sick and in a ward and everything)

He just scooped up a shorty in chapter IV.
Jim Starlin created the character. I haven't read that book but a Thanos backstory is basically fan fiction if it ain't cone from Starlin

It's. Not. Bad.

Thanos is an extremely intelligent person, who is astute in his logic, he's a bit of a loner and outcast due to his skin, has like one friend who in ch 4 told him he needs to get out more and sh*t (the friend was paid off by Alars Thanos father to spend time with him when he was younger, but in 4 his name is sintaa btw homie just kept it a buck with him cause sintaa couldnt chill with Thanos as much as he grew older (Thanos dad was big on his studies) but when T-man's dad went away to deal with some sh*t Sintaa told him yo, fu*k ya dad. I'm ya n*gga fuh real that money he paid don't mean sh*t to me) so they go out that day, Thanos scoops him up a shorty who was vibing wit n*gga HARD and gets to first base.

[pic - click to view]

then Thanos has like a realization, that his dad hasn't been hiding him away for Thanos's protection, but out of shame for him and realizes his dad might be doing the same thing with his mother.

Again, I'm like a page in on V.

It's an interesting read cause you know sh*t is gonna go bad with the ever increasing population problem. That his dad is setting up to fix with this whole endeavor of the mentorplex 2 (its a living arrangement of some sort) and sh*t.
