The f**k outta here, religion is something man made up to try to help people strive to be better, thats not a bad thing, but do you have any idea how many gods there are? How do you know your god is the right god?
Naw, religion began as fables passed down from civilization to civilization, til eventually some dudes figured out they could use it to CONTROL people and they perverted it to the point of absurdity, and they were successful.
The hook is that it's a good thing to help you live better, and it gives hope to people so we don't feel like pathetic organisms on a tiny rock in an unimaginably big universe...
This is what was used to control peasants and maintain power and control, and people as a whole lack critical thinking so it thrives.
It's the same type of person that thinks astrology/horoscopes are real and people that think the Illuminati exists based on some teen making a convincing youtube video showing rappers doing hand gestures.
Humans like to give everything meaning, when usually it has none.
The secret societies, the people trying to control us, etc etc are no big secret, no big conspiracy, it's all out in the open. It's called the GOP/Republican Party and they want to strip of us everything we have under the false pretense of family values/religion/fiscal conservatism/privacy from government, when almost all of their real fundamentals are contradictory to that.
