it was meant to state my personal stance on the article posted.

The cure for a virus is typically devised with some semblance of interpolation of that same virus.

so if the Catholic Church has been a plague to mankind.... we don't just k*ll it with raid

that's not Science's job to break down dummy.

That's garbage America's job to grow up and mature to being able to handle IN REAL TIME.
Wait, what? The job of science is to literally evaluate all factors, and dissect everything.

As soon as you exclusively pick from populations that support your bias you've lost the scientific method, thus scientific credibility.

Christianity accepts and attempt to justify numerous contradictions in human morality. It's quite clear that the literary work of fiction known as "the Bible" was written during a time when certain practices, namely slavery and murder, were already justified by law.

These books themselves were (at the time) simply the most recent editions of even more ancient religious doctrines Christianity borrowed from, if not outright plagiarised entirely.

by Alexander Hislop explores the evolution of the Catholic church from its pagan roots to its iteration in the modern era. The religious rites performed by members of the Catholic church, as well as the sacramental garments worn by its clergy, are all rooted in pagan mythology. The story of Christ as messiah, born of a virgin, was a tale told over a dozen times prior to the onset of Christianity. And I gave just a very basic outline of the similarities shared between these pagan faiths and the Christian (mostly Catholic) traditions we easily recognize today. There are many more that are worth exploring. I personally consider the great number of similarities to be fairly concrete evidence that the religion itself is simply a hoax, among other reasons.

You need to know first the difference between Christianity and the story of Jesus, Christianity is a made up religion by "saint" Paul before the council of nacaea Where emperor Constantine called for that council to resolve the controversy of Arianism, a doctrine that held that Christ was not divine but was a created being.

So if u look at the story of Jesus without him being part of the Trinity then you will have a different religion than Christianity that's around now

Also u a*sume the Virgin birth of Jesus was taken from prior religions, some will say these virgin births were added to these old religions afterwards, specially if u notice most of those religions were pagan believes and some of them are fictional too, so easily with time things can be added to it, just like the divinity of Jesus was added 300 years after his "death" or after his Ascension

Islam, though, has never been through an enlightenment or a reformation and is still rooted in the values of the dark ages. That is why Islamic extremism has boomed at a time when the rest of the world is embracing the liberal, democratic values of the 21st century.

You don’t k*ll viruses with bug spray. Religion isn’t 100% analogous to a plague/ virus, but there are some parallels. To a high degree, you can prevent the indoctrination of it’s dogma with an inoculation of skepticism prior to being “infected”.

You can treat indoctrination like you would treat a virus by “vaccinating” your brain with skepticism before contact with the “virus” is made. This vaccination has a high success and serves as an inoculation to believing things based upon poor evidence and the logically fallacious. While immunity is boosted, the inoculation from religious dogma via vaccination with skepticism is not always 100% effective, not unlike real vaccinations.

Like viruses, some religions have built-in mechanisms that allow it to adapt from it’s older form to become more resistant to the vaccination of skepticism. Take evolution for example. The Catholic Church waged war against the mere idea of it because they felt it threatened it’s continued existence and the amount of people it could “infect”.

To counter, the Catholic Church ironically “evolved” to accept evolution publicly via the Pope himself, due the evidence being so great in it’s favor to deny without looking silly. While still a religion (virus), it was not the same as it’s original version of itself. Attempted vaccinations have forced it to evolve or die.

The church simply attributed evolution to their god, therefore making it non-threatening to their dogma on the surface and increasing the amount of people it could newly infect/ re-infect. The adaption of accepting evolution is but one example of the numerous ways religion “evolves” to avoid being exterminated.

The more damning factor is that Christianity tells you be especially obedient to the cruel masters.

Evidence scientists are being paid to endorse christianity/

christianity is a code word for genocide.
This article, despite OP’s misleading presumptions, is not endorsing Christianity, but merely examining/ determining the long term psychological effects of religion on societies.

“It’s unclear how long it takes for people's psychology to change once their social environment does, Henrich said. The church's campaign on marriage and family took hundreds of years to enact. Typically, immigrants to a new nation take on their adopted culture's psychological profile in about three generations, Henrich said.”

This particular article is just the results of the study on religion. Next, it will be the study of the “one baby” policy in China and so on. The article even makes sure to note that:

“Catholic edicts on marriage aren't the whole story, but the findings suggest the importance of considering history in understanding psychology."Of course, there is also variation in kinship intensity around the world that doesn't stem from the Catholic Church," Schulz said.

Meaning that kinship intensity is not mutually exclusive to effects of the Catholic church.
