They mention that Escalade gave them a surge in the 2000's.

Short body mid 80's 'Lac k*lled the game. Mid/Late 90's 'Lacs were solid. XT5 is tough & all the new crossovers are right. Still an aspirational brand to those who grew up on them.

They tried to get away from the stereotypical use of it being the "pimpmobile" chasing the fabuloso "Europe„n luxury" persona.

Yea, the current models are. Problem now with them is that you can't cheap out on them.

They’re basically to conservative in design. They don’t like to floss too much and look elegant. They want to look edgy and conservative.

Also, once they release new models they seriously make the previous ones look crazy out dated. Unlike BMW and Mercedes. So less people buy them because rhymes don’t see them around that long.

Look at the fu*king interior on the XTS

$50k for this pile of dog sh*t?! It’s also your flagship sedan? fu*king wild how I’d rather push a KIA Stinger than a flagship Cadillac sedan. I would’ve bet my life 20 years ago if someone bet me that I’d prefer a Kia over a Caddy.

A $25k Accord Sport looks better in all aspects.

Want some help GM? Lose the X, C, A, bullsh*t badges. The fu*k is an XT6? Sounds like a fu*king golf club. Want to know what made Cadillac great? Besides amazing styling. It was Iconic names like the Deville, Eldorado, Fleetwood, etc. The Escalade further solidifies this fact.

The interior no longer has that plush, opulent, top shelf look and feel. Like your sitting in a lazy boy driving a fu*king yacht.

GM has dropped the ball far too many times for me to have sympathy for them. Put me in charge if you want to save the brand.

I’ll never understand why companies like Cadillac won’t be bold in their aesthetic design.

Exactly my point. I know the XTS is no longer being produced, but one would a*sume that that further down the alphabet means higher end. As it is with Mercedes

The newer escalade design from 2016 to now, is dope but too high. Hell, most vehicles are too high. At least brands like Tesla and sh*t bring something new to the table in innovation. The current auto market is just dull and boring as a while minus a few. I'm keeping my trucks till they fall off. I like having no payments. If I do, the sh*t has to be used to make money. Like If I had a tesla, I'm doing uber black or lyft luxury, when I got free time being next to an airport.
