Dmx had drug induced paranoia caused by crack. Ja Rule wasn't trying to be like you. Nothing is similar about y'all other than your voices. Pac was Ja Rule main influence and it shows. Hope X stays clean when he gets out.
lol ok buddy, the entire industry agrees, he stole pacs style, and switched up to dmxs style was he was bangin. Now ill listen to some ja sh*t, i got no issue but im not gonna sit here and say he didnt steal his entire style

I DO NOT believe him. ja rule and murder inc got 50 cent and f!ght aftermath,dr.dre and g unit crew. but ja rule is scared of

irv gotti and ja rule probably just felt sorry for dmx and knew he was crack out.

ja rule and irv gotti could of easly got goons on dmx. crackheads just make up sh*t and be overdramactic.
lol this was at the time that dmx was the hottest rapper in the game, he wasnt always cracked out, he wasnt fu*ked up at this time

also you know aftermath and gunit just industry dudes right? like dmx was actually street

you HAD to be there. cats talk all this revisionist BS like this wasn't a "thing" back when they were coming up. They don't even realize that Irv was part of making X who he was, but had no equity in X...so Ja came up after. They had very similar styles, but DMX was clearly really what he was. Ja stayed more true to who he was....but the similarities were def there. X and Ja were at the same company too, Def Jam, so it was even more evident.

It's funny people call Ja the bi*ch in this situation when both times he came into conflict with 50, 50 is the one who walked away limping. Not even gonna bring up the police report.

LOL, you are in denial or trying to rewrite history if you don't think that 50 destroyed Ja Rule. He became a joke overnight, in the industry and the streets. Ja Rule ain't DMX, son.
The Feds destroyed Ja Rule. That is and always was the case. Look at the timeline. Even after 50 did Wanksta and his first album, Ja went platinum. How can you destroy somebody if they're still going platinum?????

And even then, it wasn't just 50. It was Eminem, D12, G-Unit, Dr. Dre, Xzibit, DMX and bunch of other mufu*kas who jumped in.

It's not about hatin, it's about the truth.

And I actually got my dates mixed up a bit.

Rule had 4 back to back platinum albums. That's rare as fu*k for an artist to do. It only make since that after 4 platinum albums over 4 years his sales are gonna fall.

Let's look at the dates, the murder Inc. offices were raided January 3, 2003.

Venni Vetti Vecci release date June 1999 1.622 million sold
Rule 3:36 release date October 2000 3.365 million sold
Pain is Love release date October 2001 3.662 Million sold
TLT release date November 2002 1.5 million sold

Offices and homes raided January 3, 2003. Bank accounts frozen, gov't threatened the major label that was helping, it was either Universal or Def Jam I can't remember, and said that if they gave them any money or help, they audit the sh*t out of them too.

Blood in My Eye release date November 2003 468,000 sold
R.U.L.E. release date November 2004 660,000 sold

Directly after the FEDs destroyed the company, his sales get get a 1/3? That's not 50 Cent, that's the FEDs.

50 Cent first album did not come until February 2003. A month after the FEDs sh*tted all over murder Inc's finances. "Wanksta" got released August 2002. Two months after Ja goes platinum.

The fact that Ja still went gold after the FEDs destroyed murder Inc. and after having half of the top artists in rap at the time attacking him is miracle. Also, a reminder, Universal/Def Jam can't really fu*k with them at this time, so their major backer is gone. In 2004, they got kicked out of the offices because of the FEDs case.

Think about it, accounts frozen (business and personal), can't ask for help from your parent company, everything gets fu*ked up. Promotion, paying producers, putting out albums, studio sessions, all that sh*t either gets minimized or completely shut down.

Of course, the other guy is blowing up, so it looks like he's causing it.

N who remembers mic Geronimo tape that came out in a fu*kin cardboard Newport box type a case? Worst album ever!

But you keep skipping over the part where Ja went platinum in November 2002. GRODT came out February 2003. The FEDs came in and wrecked shop January 2003.

How was he done, when he went platinum?

And then in 2004 he went gold. Done artists dont go gold.
