The craziest part is it seems like she got reminded of some sh*t in her past but still saying liquor and weed is not bad as it was. Im wondering if you have addiction problems should you stay away from all of that sh*t forever or is it ok to have a vice here and there.

Been in rehab for booze plenty of times. And yeah you aren't suppose to do other vices, regardless if it was ever your go to vice or not. If you have an addictive personality, more than likely you will abuse the other vice anyway, let alone not getting the same feeling from it, and going back to your original vice. Gambling, Over Eating, becoming more of a s*xual deviant, is stuff a lot of people pick up, trying to fill a void

Is their exceptions, sure but I seen plenty of people develop drinking problems that rarely drank before trying to substituite it for heroin, crack, pills etc

It pretty much is. Being dope sick is a living hell. One thing that’s worse than heroin dope sick is methadone dope sick. I really don’t get why they even prescribe it anymore. Your bones ache, can’t sleep, can’t eat because your nauseous all the time, the emotional roller coaster will have you randomly crying over something as minor as a damn TV commercial, you will have stuff coming out of all orifices, you don’t even feel like a human. And then you know all it would take to make it go away is a tiny small pill. Then if after years of being on that sht, you happen to quit, your pleasure receptors have been artificially firing off when your high so much that they wear out. So what used to give you real pleasure like hobbies and what not, now do not fire off like they were supposed to. So nothing is as fun as it used to be unless you really live a strict regiment of eating right, exercise, and trying to get those pleasure receptors back in working order. That’s why people relapse so often, commit that, or just go back to that life fully. Than you have a lower tolerance, your first time reusing you just want to get high as fuk so ya end up overdosing. And of course there’s the fentanyl cut and lacing issue also.
So yeah, anybody who thinks it’s just about not wanting to party anymore is delusional when it comes to opiates vs coke/crack and stuff. I’ve known coke heads, methhead, crackheads, and they never seemed to actually get physically sick from not using.
