curious, why is australia anymore racist then any other country?
don't respect aboriginals?
just a few notes on how well aboriginals are treated....
aboriginals get weekly welfare payments even without having to look for a job
if they do get a job, they are free to go "walkabout" when ever they like without risk of being fired as it's a cultural right.
a large % are provided with cheap housing, some given brand new houses on land they have claimed as a sacred site.
they are given free health care.
they are paid to go to school, more then any other race in australia.
they are given government money to start land protection councils, medical practices, etc.... but for some reason over 50% of them end up bankrupt or funds are illegally distributed between the workers.
in parts where alcohol is a big problem, the government has tried to implement alcohol bans and alcohol awareness programs..... but was accused of taking away there rights......
many jobs are now classed as only available to aboriginal people as government agencies don't want to seem like they are biased towards everyone else.
i could keep going on.....
australia takes in a large amount of immigrants from all over the world. a town i know of in particular has a large population of middle eastern, asian and sudanese people and they seem to live in harmony. there are many towns embracing this help for those from less fortunate situations like the sudanese.
yes, every country has some racist people, but to define a country by a small few shows how narrow minded some really are. if u wanna call australia racist, call the world racist, cause racism is everywhere.
and who am i to judge...... a half cast (half aboriginal/half white) who has lived in some of the worst crime rate towns in australia, and yes, who also happen to have large aboriginal communities.
so this wack rapper gets into a f!ght and then blames a whole country of being racist..... or a state....... just shows how much of a numb nut he is.
This is a very good post, I'm not tryna hate on Aussie on anything, because as someone who has been all over Aussie, holidaying and playing cricket (lol) I have thoroughly enjoyed the country, but I guess as anywhere else in the world, you get your extremists.
