There is functionally no different from having a likeable character on television vs having it in cinema. If DC would just make a superman film like their animation, it would print money.

Man of steel was ok, it grew on me personally , but isnt considered the hit it should have been, hence why we never got man of steel 2, they gave us a bunch of other "COOL" movies that werent that great themselves, to make up for the lukewarm Man of steel.

Yeah there were plenty of things wrong w Watchmen, but it is still one of the best comic book movies. My point is just that even if they rip off the source material without changing anything, it'd be the best thing they've put out. Should be simple to make a good movie.

Marvel got their own studio under Disney and got a guy in Feige quarterbacking it. You don't see Disney folks interfering with Feige's stuff like how we see WB's done with DC Films.

Honestly, I don't think anything they did was an emulation of a Marvel Formula, which is just follow the basic rollout of the comic books.

They made the "crew" films before they build the universe with individual character films that had definitive continuity.

I HATED BvS. IMO, BvS was an abomination that gutted the entire DC universe and threw in parts from all of their biggest story lines- Dark Knight, death of Superman, Flashpoint, death in the Family, etc in one film. Marvel would have done that over YEARS and would have be DOPE AF.

Scrap that whole sh*t, and start over the marvel- the common sense, way.
