Modem probably went bad. How old is it? I would go buy a new one if you own it and see if that fixes the problem. If you don’t own it, you’ll need to call your ISP or take the modem in for diagnostics.

the modem is a cisco dpq3212 from cox self install. they want to slap me with a potential $100 fee for a self install tech visit smh

Check the Router/Modem MAC ID that's shown on your personal account on the website

Cox might not have this issue but Spectrum regularly "misplaces" my Router MAC ID and I have to call them to get it re-added

Have you been using for over a month and it stopped working? You can try to get them to waive the fee. Especially if you are installing it yourself.

Also check to make sure no wires came loose anywhere else.

ill return the old modem and get a panoramic gateway sometime tomorrow

tested with a verizon gateway and theres no issues

they cant try rebooting it on their end to see if it comes up? What happens when they ping the gateway on their end?

it's cox.. you know my struggle! cox has old & congested nodes at the end of your street they don't want to spend the money to fix the company been garbo but due to their bs tactics they have areas on lock like my apartment complex...

Since hurricane Ida last year my internet has been horrible i went from playing games all day with no issues to non-stop disconnects, high latency and it's worse at night or when it's cold all cox does about it is reboot modems, send out dusty techs and try to get me to upgrade my speeds.

What did I do since cox is the only provider in my area and I can't play games?
