Most people will never get to 10% body fat. Iv been working out for 14 years and I stay around 15-18% while working out, doing cardio at gym and long 7-10 mile runs every other day. I'm average (king of manlet) height with Ectomorph genetics.. i would be playing myself maintaining 10% bf. Would be frail as fu#k. Gotta have that layer of fat padding the muscle in my case.

6 percent body fat at 15-16 my core was wild but couldn’t bulk was doing the cytogainer/ 40 gram taste like sh1t protein bars. Can of tuna basically for lunch as well. It was just that young metabolism and I was very active. 6 percent is silly as a 30 year old. I’m good.

I feel like 6 percent body is likely only unhealthy as a youngin. You can be shredded and still be 12 percent body fat.

I used to get down to 8-12% during the summer months for almost a decade but now I like to hover around 15-16%. For me it diet, diet, diet. Workout, walking , cardio only gets me to about 17-18%. It's the caloric deficit/low carb that take me into lower body fat. Like only eating 1500 cals a day for 90-100 days.

walking is the best bang for your buck

cardio burns more calories but doesnt but fat until after 45 minutes

walking burns less calories but almost 100% fat


cardio will burn simple and complex carbs, protein and then fat

ive been working out for over 30 years


also the 1st thing to start your day and the last thing to end it should be the same thing

drinking a large gla$s of water

I keep one by my bed
going over 8 hours with out water in any circumstance isnt good

in fact you shouldnt drink any calories if you want to get near 10%

most people do their proteins wrong also
casien before bed
whey after workouts

casein is slow digesting so taking it before bed means your body wont hit the starvation threshold and store any thing left over as fat

whey is absorbed fast



lastly
one supplement that hardly any one uses any more
Pyruvic acid
it was known in lifting circles as bug juice
its why bugs are high in protein while having a bug or plant based diet
it also helps you metabolize carbs without having to burn up your proteins in cardio

a few tips from some one doing this for a long time

anything under 2 miles I walk
this includes grocery shopping
when you carry your food every few days you make better choices
typically the lighter and less volume the food the healthier
The only things I have canned are tomatoes and tuna


while sugar gets a bad rap and rightfully so
only eat sugar in the raw, Turbinado mixing it with cinnamon creates glycogen
a better carb your brain runs on it (warning if you do this in you coffee it creates a slime at the bottom of your cup)

water before bed and as soon as you wake

orange juice is one of the worst things you can drink
fructose and ascorbic acid(vitamin c) causes the blood to clump and store cholesterol


also eat for your blood type
O's can eat and process more meat better
As and Bs more grains and carbs better

I walk at least 30 minutes after I lift because it is a time where fat burning is at its highest. Usually 4.0 incline/3.6 speed. Zone 2 cardio

I try to average 10k-12k steps a day. My body fat is around 12%-15% year round. 6'1" 201lbs currently.

I had 11% body fat in my late teens to mid 20s. I fell the fu#k off in my 30s

If u gonna do walking ramp the steps up start with like 5k steps a day then go up from there a week.

Your feet and ankle muscles need to get used to it. Also make sure u use the right sh0es.
