a lot of trash a*s songs in this thread. I agree with the premise but Massive Attack was a load of sh*t.

Young Money held me down for a couple of summers. I remember going on LiveMixtapes and downloading every Drake mixtape( official and unofficial). I knew once Drake came to Young Money, he was up next. That So Far Gone mixtape held me down through the rest of my 6th Grade year

That song was the only dope song off Dedication 3. The rest of the tape was a dud. Even The Drought Is Over tapes were better than D3. Jae Millz verse on d*ck Pleaser was funny looking back.

I know Wayne's investment on Nicki Minaj paid off. Her and Drake were getting features left and right.

Nicki's Pink Friday album held me down during Fall/Winter 2010. That album had bangers left and right. I brought that album on release date and was satisified by her

Real

When Drake first dropped, it felt like something that was here yet was new at the same time. n*gga just had it.

Same way 50 did.

Wayne took Drake under his wing and became a star in less than a year. I used to bump his old mixtapes after I burned them online. I cant believe it's been 10 years already. I was still in 6th Grade when he dropped So Far Gone. My Dad used to even play Drake's mixtapes while cutting my hair back then.

I try to forget that era. Not only was the music mediocre af, but it was the pre cursor to what's going on now. Very shallow content from that era and Wayne.

You used to burn them? Man I had the MP3s on deck, from $5 cheap ones to $200 ones. LimeWire, blogs and YouTube converter was my go to.

Time flies fam...LimeWire's extinct and Drake running the game now. We're the ones cutting the hair now, a ton of my boys are pops now

I went on LiveMixtapes every day downloading Drake mixtapes. I even downloaded Comeback Season also. Drake put in work and paid his dues to the point where's he hotter than Wayne. He was a part of my soundtrack to school
