Thats because none of that is true.

You are trying to make sense of something that didn't happen.

If Trump told you something didn't happen, did it REALLY not happen ?

If Trump said only the mob and criminals take the fifth , does that make him a criminal or mob boss?

Asking for a friend.

So thats the explanation for the MAGAts who cry that it took so long

The FBI thought they had everything back and then the informant must have told them there is more

The craziest sh*t is that if Trump just returned everything when they asked then none of this would be happening and we wouldnt even know about it

Before Attorney General Merrick Garland's spin:

The President of the United States has both the constitutional (and statutory) power to declassify anything he wants.

If President Trump left the White House with classified records, they are declassified by his actions.

Period.
All Presidents take records when they leave.

They don't pack their own boxes.

National Archives takes the position that almost everything is a "presidential record."

The federal government over-classifies almost everything.
All former Presidents get a federally funded office.

Office of the Former President

With staff.

And security clearances.

And Secret Service protection.

And secure facilities (SCIFs) for classified records.

Even if Trump had classified records, they were protected

They knew they came to his house to see what he had and told him to put a better lock this whole thing is dumb

Heís tightening the noose around his neck with every move. Which is actually what he does naturally but before he was in office and had the power to create and recreate the landscape in his image. Now he has no protections AND heís dealing with someone smarter, more ruthless, and QUIETER

Even still, this spectacle is FAR from over, I think. The most shocking moment in all of this is still yet to come.

What I donít understand about this jackass. Letís say he was stealing nuclear papers and classified docs. What was his intention to do with them by having them for so long. Heís had them for months so Iím wondering why his dumbass didnít sell the intelligence (if he hasnít already) and returned it back to where they belong when it was requested. What is the point of sitting on the documents he canít be this slowÖ.right?

no the national archives did the first request and took boxes in janurary

they notified the FBi that there could be more outside of the scope they were given permission to search for.

The FBI contacted them to turn over anything they may still have that wasnt taken by the national archives. Trump blew them off.

Someone on the inside tipped off the FBI to save their own a*s.

The national archives only deal with the presidents docs, like memos and personal letters not DOD level materials
False the feds was there a month earlier and saw the docs told him to secure them better and left this is all propaganda you just dont know documents are missing and nuclear ones at that the pentagon and homeland security would've came and got them smh yall gotta wake up

They asked and he didnít hand them over, they subpoenaed them and he didnít hand them over, they stopped by and he handed over a fraction of them and his lawyers signed off saying that was everything when it wasnít

He has gone on to say the documents were BOTH planted in his home by rogue agents to incriminate him AND that they were there legally in his home as well as repeatedly stating they didnít do any of the above.

All of what I just named are damning on their own, proof of consciousness of guilt, all without me debunking your obviously bad faith argument.

I say that for anybody looking at this exchange that may not have all the facts yet, I donít care about what you have to say and already know what youíre about

Trump (allegedly) waved a magic wand and made some documents declassified, as you suggested.

Does that make those mishandled documents the personal property of citizen Donald Trump? Are they no longer considered 'stolen' or illegally-obtained because daddy trump said so?
