'19 Jeep GC Altitude vs '19 BMW X3 sdrive

In terms of looks on the outside, how do youcompare these two BX? I realize there is a hefty amount of Bimmer gang folks on here, but the white Altitude looks pretty clean.

If both were about the same price, which would you get out of the following two cars? Keep in mind, you can only choose from these to colors (white JGC and champagne colored X3) -

2018 Jeep GC Altitude (not much has changed from '18-'19):

2019 BMW X3 sdrive30i

Thoughts?
Anybody drove both?

They're both pieces of sh*t and have expensive upkeep costs. They will also depreciate faster than Lindsey Lohan, so be smart and buy a Lexus, Toyota or Honda bro.

Bro,

I would look at the Asian brands, but their SUVs/CUVs don't look that good to me. The CR-V and RAV-4 don't catch my eyes. The Lexus? For some reason those grills have not grown on me yet. These three brands make great cars, but the looks of their SUVs don't really stand out.

At that price range/point($40k+) youre not looking at CRVs or RAV-4s, you're talking about fully loaded honda pilots and highlanders.

My gripe with the jeep is that it came out in 2010 as a 2011 model, its essentially a 9 year old car

Think about which would for your personal life better. The Jeep drives more like a truck. And is better off road. The bimmer is a luxury crossover and will cost more to own ( gas, insurance, maintenance, etc) I think the Jeep is mid size and the x3 is a compact so the Jeep is probably bigger.

These are pretty much minivans. They have no cool factor IMO. They are for parents will a lot of kids who still want to look cool.

I own a loaded Jeep Grand Cherokee and in all honesty it has all the bells and whistles that the high end euros have, so basically if you own a euro you are really doing it for the status. Now euro sports cars are another story...

I had a loaner x3 with no options and it felt terrible.

The x5 is more comparable to the Grand Cherokee.

No lie told there! I have 3 kids and require a part time 3rd row to haul kids outside of minivan. All the 3 row suvs on market are like minivans without sliding DOORS, mom-mobiles. or too dam. Expensive on maintanance (X5, Q7)

Get the Jeep. It’s a bit bigger. Either one is going to end up being an endless money pit. But the Jeep has a more versatile feel.
