I think its pretty cool, but i wish they would have paid tribute to the old tail lights. Trivial i know but...

Basically. Not even sure why Toyota chose to do this to the Supra legacy. Surely Toyota had the time to do R&D on an engine of their own to go into this "Supra". Hell just throw an updated 2JZ into it and you were good to go WTF.

I agree but apparently r&d was too expensive to do on their own. A got damn shame this doesn’t have a next gen 2JZ, 3JZ engine in this

Forreal no manual option? I dunno why auto makers do that. It pisses me off that they no longer make 2 doors GTI's I never like the 4 doors.

Honestly though Toyota could've probably gotten away with doing some minor updates to the MK IV Supra and kept the 2JZ engine as is LOL. People already paying damn near 50k or more for a stock MK IV with low miles.

im confused, the both cars are 50K and are almost identical. if i had to choose i'd take the bmw.

The $50,000 BMW one is the 4 cylinder turbo and the $50,000 Toyota one is the straight 6 turbo, the 6 cylinder BMW starts at $65,000. Still not a big fan.

It seems like a lose-lose situation for anything less than a 3JZ. Realisticically, putting in a decade+ old 2Jz back in a brand new Supra wouldn’t fly. People would rage Toyota to hell for not updating it to the 3JZ and call it a lazy attempt

Did you really think this car was going to come with a motor that Toyota discontinued making nearly 20 years ago? Also, what part of this car looks remotely like an mx5?

I feel you on that, but true Supra fans probably wouldn't even care LOL. Yeah I am sure the big speed shops will get them and immediately put a 2JZ in with some fabrication since they have the time and money. That MK IV styling though is just godly. Despite being a 25yr old body style that sh*t still turns heads today. Damn shame when the 1994 models with almost 60k miles are selling for the same as this one. Hell the 1998s have hit 100k like WTF who buying these?

After 21 years i was expecting more . looks like a Mazda 6
