Get that for sure. MLB never approved that, it’s in the discussion. Not approved though.

Cup of coffee gives you MLB health coverage for life

Baseball is still the better package for anyone who isn't sure he's going to actually be good
Incorrect. More guaranteed money in the NFL. If he’s solid, can get more money than he can with Baseball. Aaron judge is making barely $600,000 right now. He’s been one of the best hitters in the game for 3 years now.

U have to actually be good to get paid big money in baseball
This is what mother fu*kers on here don’t get. Aaron Judge is great and won’t get paid top dollar until he’s 28-30 years old.

Well he came up late. He's the same age as trout but has to wait to get paid.

For which team? He'll be older and a lot less valuable with no baseball development during these formative years. The same tier offer won't be waiting for him when he gets back.
Agreed. Baseball is the tougher sport. You can't just show up and be good within a year. If I'm going to try one and use the other as a fallback, I'm trying baseball first and using the NFL as a fallback. Clearly, Kyler didn't want to go to the minors though which is a huge mistake

Na. Kyler would have to stay in the Minors making jack sh*t for years. He wouldn’t get paid good money until his late 20s. If he could even get paid that.

Only one first rounder in 2016, and 2017 has been brought up to the Majors combined in both years. 1 player.

LMAO.

This dude really 5'9" though?!

Can't imagine how a 5'9" QB would do in the NFL. The linemen are a lot bigger and taller than college, no?

Insanity. He’s frail, short, and will most likely have dozens of balls (pause) bated down by defensive linemen.

Never mind the fact that CTE almost seems to be a common occurrence among former players. Why on earth would he choose football?

I looked at OU depth chart he had some big lineman. I think he should do fine in NFL he just gotta learn how to stay in the pocket and when to leave with his size. So not really a lot bigger

anybody saying stupid choice doesn't understand he would go to the minors and not make the same money until many years later provided he stays healthy, excels through the different levels, and in the pros

Jacob degrom won a cy young last year and only made 13 million dollars baseball is nonsense for years until you make it to that long term deal, and arbitration only takes care of one year
