He was projected to win 3-4 games. He’s already 3-1 why would he sweat it?

He kept saying after every win that if he had a bigger front seven on both sides of the ball everyone would be in trouble. And that shows.

He needs to go on a recruiting rampage on the defensive side. What’s also is hurting him is his highest rated recruit from last summer is lazy and immature in Cormani McClain who hasn’t seen the field

Cormani appears to be one of those top recruits who got away with just being athletically gifted than everyone in HS but never understood the game. In college everyone is a good athlete, the separation is between the ears and Cormani is lacking that.

So when those players hold him and his coaching staff accountable publiclly he will be cool too right?

Old school coaches literally keep sh1t in house, they tell outsiders nothing, thats part of being old school.
Nick Saban called out Alvin Kamara for being lazy...Kamara tr@nsferred but later said saban doing that is what turned his career around...there is plenty more examples

Kirby smart called out his qb by name after the Ohio state game last year...he called out derion Kendrick by name a few times, there's more...

Dabo called out Feaster by name multiple times for lack of work ethic....he also called out nate Wiggins after wake Forrest last year....he called out his DC in the halftime interview Saturday

Coaches that hold ppl accountable in private and public are Usually successful....
Either it motivates them to be better or it shows they weak and gets them on their way

This is cfb....not pop warner where you coddle players

The Cormani situation is not on Deion. Cormani showed up in July, other freshmen had been there since the spring. Deion said he was personally gonna pick who he gives #1 to. Cormani shows up and Deion gives him the #1 which meant he is that dude. The first practice Cormani threw up 7 times. They immediately had him running with the second string defense. The starting corner spot opposite of Travis Hunter was wide open. They were waiting for Cormani to show he was that dude. In the well off media footage he never settled in to that role. He constantly would get beat on one on ones. He never seemed like he was ready to play or determined to play. His technique was bad he wasn’t physical. Which shouldn’t be a surprise he got to camp late and he’s a freshmen. Due to the fact he was a highly touted recruit people people are constantly asking why isn’t he playing. Deion at first answered he is the reason he isn’t playing. They asked him to elaborate what he needs to do yesterday and he said the reason why.

Old school coaches very rarely call out players publically.
They handle that sh1t in house.
STop trying to point to exceptions from even those coaches.

If you want to call out your coaches fine, but calling out players publicly is low character sh1t.

I can guarantee you that everything Prime said in that interview, he has said to that kid over and over. Kid thinks that just because he's a 5 star coming into a program that's building, he has a free rub. Nah son, it don't work like that. Hardworking over talent on any given day. Have to wonder if that kid would act the same under someone like Saban.
Of course he would and Saban wouldn't start him him either.

Damn they want Prime to lose soooo bad!

He's already already tied to the last coach, 2 more wins and he's closing in on the 2016 record. This is only the first year of Coach Prime in Colorado!

But this is exactly why I love prime... ACCOUNTABILITY.....HE HOLDS PLAYERS ACCOUNTABLE....Nick Saban does this, Dabo does this, Kirby does this...the old school model of ILL PLAY A 2 STAR OVER A 5 STAR IF HE AINT PUTTING IN THE WORK AND ILL TELL HIM AND ALL OF Y'ALL EXACTLY WHY THIS BUM AIN'T ON THE FIELD....

Love it
Yea seem like he was built to be a college coach. They are gonna be a powerhouse in a few years

The people who go out of their way to hate on Deon, look at their usernames, and check their post history. Iím sure youíll find nothing but racism in all of their posts. Deon exposes them every time. Youíve got one guy mad because he didnít play a 5-star freshman who basically wasnít doing his homework, but since heís a good athlete, the coach is supposed to let him slide? I can tell that most of you havenít played football. When you mess up with real coaches, they donít care how good you are; youíre getting called out and benched in front of the whole team. You have to set an example. If the other players see him getting away with things, theyíre going to think, ĎAw, Prime doesnít care; we can do what we want.í Now, theyíre like, ĎDamn, he punished him; Iím going to get in line; heís not going to embarra$s me.
I don't know why everyone responds to his comments any way. The main person your talking about is a frivolous fruit with over 40 k more slaps than likes.

Also everything you said about prime is valid

Thatís disrespectful for a coach to put a freshman that donít even play really on blast like that 4 games into the season. And after a blow out like that by players that apparently do that sh1t he sayin.

Coachin staff full of clowns. Yall actin like yíall forget they been ran off hella scholarship players with bullsh1t tactics.

What is there to sweat? His program is still rebuilding a performing at a high level.
[some] people jumped on the bandwagon (because they saw "Colorado Football" is what everyone is going to be talking about right now..."Hey...did y'all see? The Rock was on the sideline!!") and expected CU to go undefeated (a lotta folks are off the bandwagon now that they've lost).

The team won 1 game last year. No matter how much one worships Deion Sanders, thinking that his arrival made them a national championship contender in one year is kinda silly . Folks know (or at least they should if they actually care about college football) that these things take time (more than one season, no matter how well they exploit the tr@nsfer portal).

I think that Deion is realistic about his team and what his expectations are.

USC
@ Arizona State
Stanford
@ UCLA
Oregon State
Arizona
@ Washington State
@ Utah

There are at least two more losses on that schedule and I'm sure that there will be those who will try to come for Deion if the Buffs finish 8-4 or 7-5, but this season has already been a success (when was the last season that Boxden discussed the Colorado Football Team?).

Thereís nothing ďhigh levelĒ about this team of tr@nsfers.

I think so...habits are habits. He playing next to Travis a star player and still not showing up to meetings? Travis even said he has a lot to learn on an interview and nobody said anything. It is what it is at some point.
