I was the biggest DOOM stan but "Rap Snitches" was always literally the single song that I do not like from him, out of his entire discography.

I don't like the beat, and I wasn't feeling Mr. Fantastic. The message is on point.

It's crazy that all these years later, that's the one everybody seems to be familiar with.

How?

And to be real I didn't like the album at all when I first heard it. Listened to it at tower records on a listening station and thought it was so wack. Few years later that sh*t is a classic to me. Everything from the skits to the concept is so dope.

It sounds goofy to me bruh. Like I said, the beat and the Mr. Fantastic verse don't work for me. The message is cool.

That beat is much better simply as an instrumental on Special Herbs, imo.

I read the rest of your reply.

I actually didn't like "One Beer" when it was released as an album promo.

Today, it's etched in my brain forever as a classic and the first lyrics that come to mind when I want to rap some DOOM.

But yeah, Mmm... Food is a nearly perfect listen, all the way through; and ESPECIALLY if you include the skits. (I just don't like "Rap Snitches.")

But the way the skit transitions from "Fig Leaf Bi-Carbonate" to "Kon Karne," will make me cry like a baby at times.

I have no shame about it, it's beautiful.

One Beer is one of those songs you skip just off the intro. I've done that with many of songs across many of albums just because I don't like the intro of a song so I never listen to the whole thing but once you actually listen all the way through you fu*k with it heavy.

This wasn't on Mm... Food.

I'm just leaving this here for anybody who doesn't know, that DOOM deserves serious consideration as the greatest rapper of all time.

Listen, DOOM is my #3 under Pac and Biggie. Sometimes I think he's right there. It's hard for me to not like a DOOM track.

But that whole sh*t sounded goofy to me. The beat, the rhythm. It just doesn't work for my ears.

DOOM & Mr. Fantastic did waaaaaayyyy better on this one, imo.
