A SG job is to score. An elite SG scores at a high rate. Y'all confuse sgs playing their positions well as ball hogging. Kobe averaged almost 5 ast a game while scoring at an elite rate. Melo simply played too much hero ball and developed outside of his scoring

the melo hate on here is crazy. he like 35 years old now and the style of play in the league passed him by. he's not a catch and shoot player and he's not quick enough to take anyone off the dribble anymore with positionless basketball. but i can tell most of you cats didn't see him at syracuse and denver. there's no arguin he was one of the top 5 players you'd want with the ball in a close game during his prime.

mike jordan was a ball hog early in his career with the bulls...he average the most points in his career when he was on mediocre team same with kobe...melo played on mediocre teams ....if melo coudn't pass the ball then jr smith would of never won 6th man...melo didn't passed the ball because jr smith was his 2nd option player...not kyrie irving or kd but jr smith...who was the 4th option on the cavs...i think if jr was kobe or mj's 2nd option player they would take more shots too
