It doesn't have to be passive. It's a matter of, do you have enough income overall vs. your overall expenses. For most people, it helps to simply have a high paying job to make it easier to save. Otherwise, extreme frugality may not even be enough for the majority of the country, sadly.

If I lived on the street, my friend's couch or my momma's house I could save 12 hundo a month on rent. That's more than 10k!

No one realistically unless you making like 80K after taxes can do that with one job. Even someone making 50 K a year after taxes will have a hard time doing that in 1 year unless you all by yourself and living at home.

Iím frugal and I only save like 200 a month after paying my bills and necessities I also have a family so thereís that. Even w/o them Iíd probably only get to like 500 or 600 but definitely not over 800 without getting a second job or passive income

sh*t sound doable until you you multiply that times 7 then multiply that times 4.But on the flip side a lot of motherfu*kers probably come close to that if not surpass that in fast food on the regular.Cut the eating out and cook at home.Pockets will be on swoll after a year of doing that

Everyone not broke my n*gga.

Instead of eating out everyday find a way to stash some money

Instead of getting a bottle every weekend find a way to stash some money.

How about finding a way to MAKE 27.40 a day. Make it ya mission.

Instead of telling me why you canít find a way to do it.

Been stacking like crazy. The only people hating on her comment is people who are struggling and don't believe in themselves which will lead them to always be struggling.

The one difference I see in people who are on right path is that they make smarter decisions of having kids and when.

$50k a year post tax hard to save $10k a year?

$4166 a month. Tell me your expenses.

Living alone isn’t the best situation for saving. Living with partner or roommates is (assuming they’re chipping in).

I make $57k a year and my rent and bills is only $1070. Food is probably close to $1,000 a month for me and my girl..we eat out damn near every day (talking $20-40 a DAY 3 or 4 times a week minimum... sometimes more) and I've said this before many times when talking about my income and how eating out has basically been k*lling my potential to save more. Trying to reel it in but I'm never gonna learn cause I can still afford to save money every check after taxes + bills + health insurance and get delivery every night

You don't have to be a millionaire to save money just stop having unnecessary bills and I'm sure you do

I was just thinking, in a world where so many people are week to week or month to month, can they afford to save $200 a week.

If you have more than one job or pay yourself. The age group she’s talking to can’t afford that sh*t. Even if you had the job that could afford it, you’d be in debt by the time you got it. So you wouldn’t be able to save $28 a day with those loans.
