Couple canít make ends meet on $500k a year in Kansas.

In a clear example of extreme American consumerism, one profligate man, using the online handle Slavikfill, claimed to be seeking tips on how to stretch his household income of $500,000 a year when he posted his budget on Reddit.

“My wife and I are in our early thirties. We live in Kansas. I’m a CTO of well known startup, and she’s a model,” he wrote. “As you can see, each year we have a large deficit. Currently, we add that to our mortgage each year. We’ve been doing this for 2 years. I’d appreciate any advice on how to reign our situation in.”

Here’s what his self-reported financial mess looks like:

These dumb fu*ks don’t need a financial advisor, a mf 5th grader can tell them what to cut out.

1. Give the house back to the bank and move into a $1000 apartment. Your credit will tank for awhile, but you can pay cash for a nice house in 2 years.

2. Get ya a*s in the kitchen and cook.

3. Stop buying new clothes every month.

I could go on and on, but if these bi*ches ever wakeup they can retire in a few years.

I've been through Kansas many times. You can buy 7 large houses for $10K a month. This is a fake story for attention.

I'm a*suming "party supplies " is code for drugs.

Because only high motherfu*kers would spend 3 racks a month on food. flights every month? Where are you going every month that's not a work related, because that's a tax write off Mr CTO and the startup usually pays for travel or reimbursements.

Yeah they need to cut back on the drugs. Itll trickle down from there.

I don't think they're trolling people really live like that. I know people where I work who make 18$ more than I do per hour but have less savings or cash. I had to bark on my girl because she got this stupid idea she needs to see the world. She makes her own money but it's still frustrating to watch her do dumb sh*t. I'm like bi*ch you don't need to see the world, you need to see a financial advisor.

Lie.
What phone do they have thatís $40 while their mortgage is 10k? Those two things donít add up, plus the flights? If itís at all related to business his company should cover it and also Vanguard contribution? Shouldnít that go in your 401(k) allocation, even if you have to create another line-item?

That mortgage though... and insurance is only 2-something? Nah. Heís making this sh*t up.
