most of these are things people know already, but have hard times applying themselves.
This has been, and will be, the case forever.

What area of IT did you first get into? Which certs do you recommend? I'm thinking about leaving my job to get into IT eventually but not sure of the path to take. My cousin referred me to project management but idk..
I got in as a Jr. System's Administrator first. Good experience but all phone support, so it was nonstop calls all day. I'm currently the IT specialist for an online retailer focusing more on the network side of things. I only have a salesforce admin certification as I was looking into getting into that at one point. Network + is a good cert if you want to go that route and be a network admin, or security+ is good as well if you choose to get into the security side of things, can't go wrong with either.

There's good money in IT if you have a passion for it, once you don't feel like learning anymore then you'll become stagnant in the industry.

The best way to maximize your 20s is to get a scholarship for college, slowly build your credit via 1 credit card, and work out. That's it!!!!! Life will be great. No debt, got good health, and good credit history setup whenever you need to make a move. The hardest thing to do is get scholarship for school obviously but I never said these things would be easy. You gone have to work for it mentally and physically.

People are missing the fact that this is a guideline. Not something you follow line for line. A lot that I agree with some items I disagree with. For example, I would advise more to balance saving and investing stocks or real estate as soon as possible.

With that said, I think attitude and execution are probably the most critical skills. You can have a plan and all the ideas in the world. If you don't know how to execute or respond when sh*t changes (which will happen). Then, sh*t will be for nothing.

I don't agree w/ the Friends part. If all your friend wants to do is party then that's what HE/SHE does. Another person's lifestyle shouldn't affect yours.
I disagree with this, especially in your 20s and I am talking about the majority here -- you might be a special case. However, many people pick up habits or imitate people they hang around. In a lot of cases, it could even be some of the smaller things.

This year has been the best year of my life period. Got connected with a dude that flipped my world upside down. Got my 214 license and working on my others.

You have to write goals down and actually apply action towards them. Get out of your comfort zone and go for what you want. You must also put your life on a schedule and stick to it. Let's just say I'm well on my way to being in the 5% of the world money wise and it's not as hard as you'd think

Travelling should be number one on everybody's list.

All the things on the list won't make much sense until you travel. It's hard to have a broader and long term perspective on life within your city limits.

Can’t emphazize this enough. Traveling to different countries solo and with the family, and smashing down foreign broads all over. I love it.
