Anonymity can be good because you may not want to ask or say certain taboo things. As a result, you will never be challenged on it and can never learn anything or learn different perspectives.

That being said, I use my real name and real picture on Facebook and Twitter just to get used to not being able to say anything too stupid/reckless.

The only anonymous profile I have on Twitter and Instagram is for following wh*res lmao

Same n*gga in real life.

I’m passionate and blunt. Probably why I’m always having conflicts or debates. IMO being outspoken is a gift and a curse. Nowadays everybody is ultra sensitive so everything is taken as a insult or hating. The pandemic gave me enough alone time to decide that I don’t have time for the bullsh*t people bring with them.

So outside of my rotation of women I deal with s*xually, kickin it with my immediate fam (Mama & siblings), and my best friend....I can’t deal. Other people’s negative energy WILL fu*k with your mental health.

I don't say sh*t on the internet that I wouldn't IRL. Dudes who constantly troll and act like a bi*ch in general aren't solid IRL. I'll never understand someone like the dude who always gets his BMs posted and is accused of snatching an old ladies purse acting the way he does with a hundred accounts. Real life loser sh*t.

How you behave around one group of friends may be completely different to how you behave around another group of friends. And how you behave around your friends may be different to how you behave around your family. And you may behave differently around your parents than you do around the rest of your family. And so on. Like, you have different personalities with each individual group/person. When you’re online, it’s sort of like every single persona in one. I’m krazy though so maybe that’s just me lmao. I don’t even think I’m making sense

There’s things on bx that I WOULD say in real life to some people, and other things that I wouldn’t. It’s not about living a double life, it’s just based on the dynamic of your relationship. You’d fist bump your friend but not your boss for example. You adapt your behavior depending on who you’re around. I hope that makes sense

I’d tell my friend “look at this ugly a*s thot” in real life or online, I wouldn’t say that to my mother in any situation though lol

That’s your inner monologue. People used to use diaries & whatnot to jot those thoughts down, and now people use their online identity as an escape & to express those thoughts too. I wouldn’t call it a double life situation, it’s more like the online version is the “inner you” if that makes sense. The real you is…well, the real you, and the online you is your deepest thoughts being expressed digitally. And no you’re not alone

Pretending to be a completely different person, someone your not, is a different situation though. If that’s what you mean, then yeah that’s a double life
