U acting like they had days to prepare...its not a hurricane.

These things pop up in minutes...even if there was warnings before hand where u gonna go? Tornado just pop up anywhere. Safest thing to do is bunker down
You sound stupid.

They give tornado warnings well before they happen.

That video shows the pure strength of Mother Nature, wow. From a distance you can tell it’s causing havoc but when it gets close it’s pure abomination. I watched glued to my screen.

I live in Alabama, and we get tornadoes nearly every year. At least every other year.

You get used to them. Once you lose the fear of them, they can be very beautiful.

(Although of course they can also do a whole lot of damage; but that's not the majority. One tore up a street in my college town [Tuscaloosa], and they were finding sweaters from University Mall, over 100 miles away.)

Anyway, when I was a kid... we literally saw one heading straight towards our house.

It hit the ditch parallel to my driveway, and jumped right over it.

Dawg how you make weather racist

good question...imagine this, we are more connected to the earth than you think...all the energy that comes from those areas maybe create this storm..I mean the earth might sense a time to clean up the area

Damn you're from Tuscaloosa too. I moved a month before this bi*ch hit

every place I'd lived for the last 6 yrs was gone and the place I just moved from was completely done so I would've been dead. I've had my roof torn off by one, numerous friends or a member of their family k*lled by tornadoes. Like you said I've never been scared about them because I learned at an early age there's nothing you can do so they're more cool to me than anything

Edit- another video just to show how big they can get

Although this is the anomaly a good chunk of these happen in horrible storms where the sky is completely gray or at night where you can't see anything and just hope you don't hear something like a train

Yeah bro. That's the one I'm talking about.

I'm not from Tuscaloosa, but I went to UA on and off fam.

The 15th Street I knew and loved, is now gone (and largely rebuilt, I believe). I don't think I want to go back, because it's gonna break my heart to see my old stomping grounds from '99-'06 or so, are now just a memory.

I'm glad you made it out safely brethren.

But yeah... we were finding clothes from University Mall, strewn through B'ham.

Yeah I was out and about down there around the same time. I've had to go back down there a couple times and sh*t is completely different everywhere downtown, the strip, 15th st pretty much everywhere fun to hang out around is gone. If I hadn't spent 25+ yrs of my life there I wouldn't recognize it and still barely can

Damn.

I didn't know the Strip was hit that bad.

Yeah... I'll leave Tuscaloosa in the past.

But I really did love it... back in the day.

Sure it's still great... just not my T-Town.

Strip wasn't really hit they just took the route of if we're rebuilding everything else might as else close down all the fun old dive bars on the strip and open up fancier places for the rich folks who come in for football pretty much the same thing everywhere. Everything is expensive as sh*t down there now. I've got a bunch of friends still down there trying to get me to move back but can't be doing all that. It was a great time in my life but that sh*t is done and over

Preciate it bruh. I was just about to get a couple of hours of sleep and I saw the sky turning greenish. Mom dukes called me up and told me there was storm warnings out. I'm looking out the window like "I know". A n*gga was lighting candles just in case then I saw that mf funneling, (I use to study weather as a kid) and instantly got down!
